La Mesa Motel — Hotel in Santa Rosa

After looking at several motels and reading many reviews online, we decided to give this one a call. We based our decision solely on reviews. We were lucky enough to get a room for the one night we were passing through from Utah to Oklahoma. We got a recording when we called and Jim was very accommodating and called us back quickly. He told me we could have room number 1 and to find him in room 5 when we arrived. He was waiting for us when we arrived in the office. He offered to immediately get us some. He offered to get us more in the morning before we left. ||The room was clean, updated and bed was very comfortable. The motel is one you might pass by or simply miss driving down Route 66. Nothing jumps out at you from the street, and it’s quite vintage. But let me tell you all the reviewers are spot on. This place is great. There is a tv, fridge, microwave and a Keurig in the room for your convenience. Jim couldn’t have been more accommodating. He told us to eat at the Silver Moon restaurant down the street which was also very good. I hope it works out we can stay again in the way back. For $80 it’s the best deal around!!
