I had originally booked our reservation for Father's Day weekend 2025. Quoted $240 initally, charged $293.14, ON TOP OF a $250 security deposit for the "jacuzzi tub suite" . We had an emergency situation and called to try to cancel it. They wouldn't refund my money per company policy. Booking.com told me that I had to contact the property, and vice versa. They helped by changing the booking to the following weekend. Once again, we had vehicle problems and I tried to extend the reservation to Sunday, 6/22-Monday, 6/23. They would not accommodate. I understand if they were overbooked, but per my experience, the weekend rates are much more expensive than a room on Sunday-Monday. The person I spoke with Friday morning was completely unprofessional and down right rude. I spoke with agents at both booking.com and at Best Western. By the time we were able to make it to the hotel, (around 9:30pm) the pool and fitness center were already locked and closed.- both supposed to have guest access until 10pm. Upon walking into the room, which is completely basic, we noticed there was absolutely no way Chris and I could fit into the "Jacuzzi tub" together. I am 5'6 and he is around 6ft tall. The tub is 5ft in length and about 18 inches deep. We looked around the room and noticed the shampoo, conditioner , and body wash canisters were all empty. The room itself is very basic and small. The stay was not at all nearly as great as you would think a $300 per night stay should be. At the very least, the in-room jacuzzi tub should be big enough for the two adults included in the stay. All of the free accomodations should be stocked and accessible should guests need them. This motel was definitely not worth the money I spent...
Read moreI stay in hotels many days of the year for weeks at a time for work and this is the worst hotel experience I have ever had. Coffee maker had a used filter in it when I checked in. Spider infested room. When coffee maker didn't work, the lady at the desk felt it more important for an empty room to have a working coffee maker and insisted I wait for maintenance who never showed. She refused to get me one from another room. Bathroom door wont open past the industrial sized toilet which is a rude and wet awaking when in a rush. They put me next to a room that was being remodeled and it was constant hammering....and I tend to work mostly nights....but even then...... When my key card reader on the door stopped working, that was my final straw. She wanted me to wait for maintenance yet again after I just got off a 10 hour shift and after some complaining she finally went to get my door open and said to me "at least I got your door open for you" are you kidding me? Was NOT opening it really an option? When I expressed my displeasure with my stay, the only form of compensation was to let me check out at 11:30 am and they would not charge me for this day even though it was past check out time. For real??? Oh yeah, the outside King Bed rooms are tiny tiny tiny. You can have all this for...$80 a night. I would give it 0...
Read moreWhere do I begin... the first problem was that check in we were looked for a smoking room paid for that room and then were told that it was not with a smoking room and that they had none available. I guess I'm not sure why that wasn't brought up three weeks earlier when I made the reservation. The air conditioning in the hotel room did not work the refrigerator did not work properly and froze all of our food. So we go to eat breakfast at the hotel instead of our frozen food, and that breakfast is absolutely disgusting cold eggs that didn't even taste like eggs, and the coffee was so scalding hot that both my husband and I burned the heck out of ourselves. The blanket on the bed smells like another woman's perfume so I doubt it was washed prior to our stay which makes me disgusted. There was no parking by our hotel room we had to walk and I am currently slightly disabled. Lastly, the housekeeper just walked right into her room while we were laying in bed did not know or say anything just open the door right on us and then said I'm sorry and closed the door. None of this is acceptable, especially when I paid over $100 for this ridiculous hotel room for one night. When I brought any of those concerns I had up to the staff, absolutely nothing was done....
