We had a very nice stay at the property. Family of 7 and everyone had enough space. The location was convenient (50 yards slightly up hill) to the Cab lift to the Canyons base and gondola. Great location for families with older kids that can get themselves off the mountain. We had 5 kids 12- 23.
We took the bus several times to and from Park City base. It picks up and drops off behind the 7-Eleven store about 30 yards from the the Cab lift so it worked out well. The bus system was very confusing at first. I recommend some research into the routes before you use it. The bus back to the 7- Eleven from Park City base is marked "6 Lime Outbound" but says nothing about Canyons Village on it. It says "Ecker Hill". The first time one person in our party tried to go back from Park City base they stood by the Canyons Village sign at the buss stop and waited an hour and a half for a bus that said "Canyons Village" that never came. Once we figured it out all was fine. This is not the property's fault, though it might be helpful to include the bus schedule with the check in instructions.
Parking at the unit was tight for big vehicles. Could not use garage and even the driveway was short for our Chevy Traverse. We had an F-150 pickup too and parked it down the hill a bit maybe 50 yards from the unit. It worked out fine, just don't plan on parking in the the garage unless you have a smaller vehicle. Overall a great stay and great host. We had a very nice time and...
Read moreThis is a nice condo, had all of the items we needed to enjoy the week we stayed. Its a 15 minute ride to downtown PC, but Summit also has its own amenities including restaurants and grocery, etc. Easy access to I 80 too, if you are skiing out of town. Nice Weber grill (which actually had propane in it). The Master is very nice, very large. We also enjoyed the gas fireplace. Comfortably couches. The beds are comfortable but may be on the small side - they both appeared to be fulls or maybe smallish queens, but it didn't seem to bother us. One main benefit of the place is the heated garage, which was great for loading and unloading ski gear. The views are great too, but we had snowy weather for almost the entire week so we didn't get to enjoy that much. It would be also be good place to stay in the summer with the nice wrap around deck. We would have used that every night, would have made the...
Read moreI'm so glad we booked directly with y'all! It was so easy and we saved money by avoiding other booking websites. :) Our group of 11 had plenty of room to spread out and completely enjoyed our stay.
Pros: the location and it's quiet! We saw a guy literally walking to the slopes from this neighborhood. And, we never heard or even saw neighbors, so it was great to feel like we had our own vacation space to enjoy. Also, the management kept the street mostly plowed and even our driveway and sidewalk too.
Cons: hot tub is small and parking was a pain. The hot tub can fit 4 people, but they are pretty cozy in there. The garage holds 2 cars, and the driveway can hold an additional 4, so there is plenty of parking! However, whenever one of the cars needed to leave, it was a constant juggling act. haha!
We would definitely stay here again and are glad we...
