Crown Inn — Hotel in Spring Valley

Super Cool Friendly Place!

I have stayed at the Crown Inn off and on for the past 6 or 7 months and my stay is always pleasant. The front desk managers are extremely cool and helpful people. They are actually "real" in conversation and attitude without a plastic or fake demeanor. Try and find that at any other local hotel. I have yet to encounter anyone even close to "rude" like I have in other hotels. The staff will also work with you if you get behind on a rental fee. I have seen much of the regular activity in an around the property and there isn't anything out of the ordinary. If there is any sort of disturbance or incident the hotel staff takes care of the problem promptly. The basic atmosphere is always calm & pleasant. Anyone who says otherwise simply engaged in activity that got them thrown out. Which really is common sense. Act like an idiot and you'll be removed quickly. As it should be. The hotel is also in a stage of renovation and they try very hard to accommodate everyone during the transition. All in all the hotel is clean and pleasant with a staff that respects the privacy of residents. If you're someone prone to creating problems then I wouldn't recommend Crown Inn. (plenty of other places around for that) But if you're a cool person with some sort of respect intact then you'll have a great stay...

Anyone that rated this place as excellent or good is either mentally retarded or has received some cash from the Owner Arthur Allen in exchange for their giving this place a positive rating. If you don't believe me check it out, check in to this dive and get a first hand look at this place. Fact is that the Owner Arthur Allen is a registered sex offender. This Moran lives at the motel along with his 2 large breed dogs he keeps caged up in 1 wire cage with NO type of padding on the bottom of cage to protect their feet. He keeps them inside this cage in his small room all day and night. Arthur Allen also brags to everyone about his offering young black guests free rent in exchange of their participating in his porno movies which he films in his room while the children are playing in the very next room. Arthur Allen also has as his employees other sex offenders, prostitutes, and wanted felons. The rooms are infested with bed bugs, and roaches. The pool is not sanitary with no filter. The (Manager/Desk Clerk/Prostitute): Latifa is known to fix the books, over charge guests, and deliberately hold or lose the guests mail. I was shocked beyond belief a hotel like this exist. It's a hostel not a hotel every room is shared, some with two, some with three. The hostel is run by staff and the use a buddy system for pricing and wifi the filthy roach infested hotel. They recommend you smoke weed so that you stay Stone the whole time you're there and don't realize where you're staying or what staying. In my room I had four or five people just walk right in like they lived there. If someone did take a legitimate complaint to health department I guarantee the hotel would be shut down but no one has been taking those pictures and making those notes in order to put this hotel in its place. All of the staff that works at that hotel lives there probably in the same room. It looks like they're aim is to take advantage of the poor Manor the disabled man or the fixed income man. Save your money there are cheaper, much cleaner hotels in South San Diego you just got to shop around. During the month that I was there my rent changed four times and they have your deposit so you can't argue with them $100 deposit. Luckily for me I have video I have footage live streamed video footage of the disgust the roaches people coming into my room...
