My better half and I, and our 3 fur babies (2 corgis and 1 rottweiler) have lived here for about 3 months now. We really have no complaints. Everything, and everyone has been wonderful! Here are a few of the many highlights: -Park itself is gorgeous, it really does feel like a resort -Everything is extremely clean and well-maintained (I'm talking SPARKLING clean. The bathrooms are spotless, - I love taking showers in there, the public grills are spotless, the pool, the rec room, laundry room, everything) -No breed restrictions for dogs (we have a large, loving rottweiler, that unfortunately prevents us from staying at many campgrounds due to their policies) -Fence allowed on your spot as long is it isn't on the grass -Enough room for 2 vehicles at each spot, or if you want more "free" space at your spot, there is a decent amount of overflow parking within the resort -Decent exercise equipment for basic gym use -Free mail/package acceptance -Can use the address as your permanent residence -The park is secure - gated entrance, specific key codes to get in to different fenced areas and the bathrooms -Very close to the quaint & fun Old Town Spring -Everything you need is near by The only "downfalls" (most completely out of the parks control): -Right under IAH flight paths (can be loud) -Right next to frequently running trains (can be VERY loud) -Not in the safest area, but never had any issues or felt unsafe (especially within the park) -Immediate area is industrial -Wifi is good for the most part, but as someone who works from home and needs to frequently video conference, and for my Significant other who likes to game, we had to get a supplemental internet service. Otherwise, Wifi is fine for regular browsing/netflix/etc.

One of my favorite places to stay! Management is professional, courteous and prompt. The entire area is well kept and beautiful. We have stayed here twice with our tiny house (TAB trailer), and if every place I stayed could be this enjoyable, I'd be one happy camper! Although we didn't use many of their amenities, they were functioning and ready if we wanted to utilize them. However, we were pressed for time as we were there both times for a roller derby tournament. We had a spot next to the lake on our last trip and it was so beautiful and calming. There are many places close by, to grab a quick bite to eat and not far from stores such as Walmart, Dollar tree, etc. You'll have to get on the highway to get to them but it's not a far drive at all. All in all, if we ever need to visit Houston and the surrounding areas, we will definitely stay here again, if they have availability.

I stayed here for a little over a month from March-April 2025 while transferring from out of state for work. This place is amazing! I have traveled around the country and stayed at many RV Resort style places. Hands down one of the best I've been to. The staff are great, the grounds are clean and quiet, the rec center and showers were well maintained, and laundromat inside was very convenient. Water pressure in the showers was awesome, and shower room was always clean and well kept. Even did some fishing on the lake. I can't say enough good things about this property, it was a comfortable environment during my stay and I would recommend anyone stay here. Well done Northlake RV resort staff, well done!

New update review.Well I don't know what happened to the other management but they need to come back. The new manager is a real piece of work. She's very hostile to guests. She snaps at you for just asking a question. She's very rude and unprofessional. Smells like a nasty ashtray and booze. This place has gone downhill . Didn't have the pool open for the whole month of July. Due to inspection. Should have got a break on rent. The restrooms are filthy and nasty. If I was homeless I wouldn't use the restroom. GROSS. The pads need to be power washed so bad. But the man I guess he's management too, he does absolutely nothing. Gets paid for staying home from what I see. He's useless. He has scared my grand daughter. She calls him a weirdo. Her parents don't want him near her. This place use to have some of the nicest people in here but from what I was told management kicked them all out. No potlucks anymore, no more golf cart parades. So sad. I understand that this was the new managements plan from the get go. Very sad to here this, but I know some moved over across the street so guess my next stay I will check out the new place because this resort doesn't need my money. I've stayed here off and on for a few years and have never felt so unwelcome thanks to the manager.Upper management needs to replace these managers with some friendly people. These managers are running people out. I've read some reviews and what the bad ones say is true for sure. I just changed my review to 1star and don't think I'll be back untill I know new management is here. This resort looks like a very low income trailer park now. Section 8... This place has had lots of pop up campers staying here and campers removed off back of trucks. Some trailers are very old and in poor shape and very dirty. Window units hanging out of campers. Very trailer park looking. Sure not no 5 star resort. We stayed here for the holiday to go visit family and friends. We just parked our RV and traveled to families.Beautiful place. The only problem is very bad maintenance. The trees need trimmed so badly. Driving in I thought my AC units were going to get ripped off or end up with a big hole in my roof. Needs a tree trimming service so badly. I seen the guest trimming there own trees. Not me . I'm not going to trim the trees for what it cost to stay here. Another thing is all the extra parking spaces cost money . That's a bit ridiculous to charge for parking. All these spaces through out the park and they want more money. Also kids are driving around in golf carts very fast and almost running into people and pets. Kids shouldn't be allowed to drive golf carts period. People in here don't drive speed limit at all. This is a nice place by all means, just needs a lot more care and...

Well we have been here for around 6 months and our stay had been going fine until now read the story and then you will know why it has a bad rating... a water leak appeared at our site one day so I asked the management if they were aware of the problem, it had been in that condition for a few days and i was checking on the status ...management stated they had notified the property owner and a plumber had been contacted... so that lasted several more days then the plumber shows up.... digs a hole by the water spout and leaves for several more days ... so after walking in water to get into my cargo bays I go up to the office to ask again as to when they will be closing up the hole at this point the standing water and now a hole had been abandoned for several more days .... well it gets worse a few days ago we were out of town and I get a recorded message from the management that water was running off the roof of our motor coach and to let us know that a neighbor was nice enough to turned off the water at our site ... at this point I was puzzled so I called to talk to the manager and they told me of the incident .... well when we arrived back to our site a few days later we find out the real story ..... the plumbers apparently were working at out site and had turned off the water to explore in the hole for the leak and when they thought they were done they covered up the hole and turned the water on ... when we had left for a few days the valves were off on our side... so in the process of turning on the water they turned on a valve that goes to our black tank on the motor coach and flooded our coach when we came into the coach it was flooded all inside so after checking into what had happened it was clear what the plumber had done ... so after cleaning out the coach of all the sewage I went to the office to talk to the manager about what had happened and wanted to let management know about the event and that we were having to clean up the coach and all I was told was they would send it up the flag pole to this day no one has contacted me to talk about what took place...it's been over a week and so here we are on Sunday 3-24-19 the plumber shows up to give it another go to check into a sign of more standing water and now another hole... this time I'm on site and made sure they stay away from my cutoff valves I'm very disappointed as to how we were ignored on the situation i understand no one wants to own up to the problem so at this point all I can do is comment on the facts so if anyone wants to talk to me about the fiasco they know how to reach me I can assure this..social media can be good and bad advertising for Northlake and Sun Coast...
