MINISO — Local services in Spring

When I found out Miniso had finally made its way to Houston, I knew I had to check it out. I've been to Miniso plenty of times in LA malls so I knew what to expect to see in the store.

This location was not what I expected. I didn't realize it was so far up north, but also in an area you wouldn't expect a Miniso to be placed. It's definitely no Chinatown, that's for sure. It makes you wonder what this stand alone building uses to be.

It's a pretty small store. Every corner of the wall has extremely cute stuffed animals priced at $9.95 and up. The larger ones are about $19.95 and up.

This is no Daiso where you get items for a $1 and up. This place definitely has a tad bit higher quality items that are also priced higher.

This place seems to be a big fan of Marvel Comics and some Tom and Jerry items on the walls. And a few Sanrio items.

I ended up with some storage stuff and I caved in a bought a shower sponge from the Sanrio line.

I saw quite a few girls have stuffed animals on each arm, so if you're a fan of cute stuffed animals, then this is the place.

This was quite a drive, so make sure you at least don't come out...

I don’t normally write reviews ever for anything but my experience bothered me terribly as someone who’s been here for the first time. I came in to browse some of the items and buy some stationary, but when I went to go ask a staff member for some help on finding some items I was completely ignored! I tried to get their attention by saying excuse me but still nothing! Like, I get that it’s a small store and that eventually if I looked around hard enough I’d find it, but to be completely ignored like that was totally uncalled for. Despite that interaction, I walked around the small store for about 10 minutes trying to find what I was looking for. There were staff everywhere but no one offered any help either even after seeing me walk around. They were either just chitchatting amongst each other or on their phones. I really wanted to like this place but...

The store was really clean and full of so many cute items! I went in to buy a couple gifts for my friend who likes Sanrio and I found everything I needed. The employees were incredibly nice and patient. The one who rang me up recommended me a pair of socks similar to the ones I had chosen and forgot to remove the other ones so I was accidentally charged 4 pairs of socks instead of 2. I noticed when I got home and decided to go back to the store, despite arriving 15 minutes before they closed they were extremely nice and helpful and got it sorted out. Thank you so much!

Also a great choice of music idk if the employees pick it out or what but...
