I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Richmond Inn Bed & Breakfast in Spruce Pine, NC, and I cannot express enough how impressed I was with my experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a genuine smile, making me feel right at home.

The inn itself is a charming and beautifully restored historic building, exuding a sense of elegance and comfort. The attention to detail in the decor and furnishings was impeccable, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. It truly felt like stepping back in time while still enjoying modern amenities.

The room I stayed in was spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed. The bed was incredibly comfortable, providing a restful night's sleep. I appreciated the little touches such as fresh flowers and homemade cookies that were waiting for me upon arrival. It's clear that the innkeepers put a lot of care into ensuring their guests have a memorable stay.

Breakfast at the Richmond Inn was a highlight of my visit. Each morning, I was treated to a delicious homemade meal, featuring locally sourced ingredients. The menu varied each day, offering a delightful selection of sweet and savory options. The presentation was beautiful, and the taste was even better. I truly looked forward to starting my day with such a delightful meal.

The innkeepers and staff at the Richmond Inn were incredibly friendly and attentive. They went above and beyond to ensure that my needs were met and that I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. They were also knowledgeable about the area, providing excellent recommendations for local attractions and dining options.

The location of the Richmond Inn is also worth mentioning. It is situated in the heart of Spruce Pine, making it convenient to explore the charming downtown area with its unique shops and restaurants. Additionally, it is a short drive away from breathtaking natural attractions such as the Blue Ridge Parkway and Linville Falls.

In conclusion, my stay at the Richmond Inn Bed & Breakfast in Spruce Pine, NC, was nothing short of exceptional. From the beautiful accommodations to the delicious breakfast and friendly service, every aspect of my experience exceeded my expectations. An Exceptional Stay – Better Than Any 5-Star Hotel

I can’t say enough good things about our experience at the Richmond Inn Bed and Breakfast. From the moment we arrived, everything was spotless, tidy, and clearly cared for with pride. The attention to detail in both the rooms and common areas made it feel not only clean, but truly welcoming.

Maggie, the host, was incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. She’s the kind of person who anticipates your needs before you even know you have them. And her breakfast? Absolutely outstanding—easily the best I’ve ever had at any hotel or B&B. Homemade, fresh, and served with care.

Honestly, this stay was more comfortable, personal, and enjoyable than any 5-star hotel I’ve ever been to. If you're looking for a place that combines charm, cleanliness, comfort, and exceptional hospitality, look no further than the Richmond Inn. We’ll...

We had been on a trip and making a long drive back to Louisiana. We decided we had driven long enough and found the Richmond Inn on the internet. The host was out but I left my number. We arrived there before she had a chance to return the call. She was so welcoming and had a room left for the night. She brought up drinks and ice, opened the window and we had a wonderful night. The bed was comfortable, the shower was excellent and there was a sofa, recliner and rocking chair. The next morning we had the best breakfast ever! She cooked eggs, we had coffee, juice, danish, fruit. The conversation we had with the host was great. She was knowledgeable about the area, current affairs and everything we discussed. Sometimes a little talk makes a good difference with a welcoming banter. All in all it was a great room, historic house and a great host. Worth your time if you are...

We first stayed at the Richmond Inn in 2010. After staying at numerous B&B's thereafter, we decided that it was our favorite! We decided to go back for two nights in February 2017...it was just as magical as it was the first time! It has such charm and character...it is the ideal place to recharge. The grounds are gorgeous. And Maggie is the best! She is very kind and has such extensive knowledge of the area. Finally, the breakfast is incredible! Such delicious food! We would recommend the Richmond Inn to anyone looking for a beautiful and clean B&B in Western Carolina. So many interesting and exciting things to do in the area. You won't regret staying here!!!

Wonderful place to stay in Spruce Pine. The facility is very clean and the accommodations are excellent. I’m picky about how towels smell when I go to use them. These towels are very thick and don’t have any smells other than clean. The bed was comfortable and the sheets and pillow cases also clean. Breakfast is like at home but better. Creative ways of making eggs, plenty of fruit, yogurt, jams and marmalades. The coffee was great and the pit was never empty. There’s a butlers pantry available with goodies if you crave anything in the middle of the night. I highly recommend the Richmond Inn Bed and Breakfast. There’s no other place to stay that is comparable.
