There was an ice storm few days before we were to check in. We had a reservation made days before. Power outages all over town. I called the day of check in to inquire about the power and I was told it was on this was 3-330pm. At 9pm while I’m at work I get a call saying we cannot check due to the power being out. And did we want to reserve for next day? I said yes. The next morning I drive by and people are at the hotel. I call and find out the power was on. It had been going on and off. Ok why weren’t we allowed to check in the night before like the other guests?!!!! WE SLEPT IN OUR CAR!!!! IT WAS IN THE 20’s AND IT SNOWED!!!! I go the hotel and the desk clerk argued with me!!! Barely apologized. Rude as hell. No reason why we couldn’t check in night before just said they had a lot of ppl from other hotels trying to get a room and they were understaffed. NOT MY PROBLEM!! We had a reservation. So that means we had a room. No called to tell us the power was going on and off and if we still wanted to check in during that. Yes we would have. A cold bed with blankets is better than a COLD CAR!!! This clerk was so disgustingly rude and just I have no words. Argued with me!!!!!! No offer of a free night or even a discount. Just rudeness and attitude is what we got. My husband is diabetic and sleeping in a cold car is not good for him. As for the rooms? HA!! Could’ve been a lot cleaner. I’ll gladly wait to check in while a room is being cleaned. Hair in the bathtub, comforter is questionable, room is small. Why the big desk and cupboard? Tiny tv, no guide to channels, skip the big desk and put that money towards better tvs. Hot water ran out. I can hear every person walk above me and in the hallway. And the elevator is next door we can hear that and slamming in the storage (?) room next to us. Dead bug in the bathroom. I would never stay here. Nope. This place is horrible. Rude condescending desk clerk and small, dirty noisy rooms. Our car was better. Stay at Comfort Inn not here unless you want rude staff, noisy rooms with hair in the bathtub and dead bugs.
I spoke with Amber the Assistsnt GM and she was wonderful. Kind, caring and amazing. The situation was resolved to my satisfaction and yes I would stay here again. ...
Read moreMy husband and I booked this place while in town for a wedding. Upon first entering this place, my husband and I thought it would be a good experience. It smelled clean, the staff was friendly. When we got to the room, it smelled clean and was in decent enough condition. Was it the nicest room? No, but we just needed a place to sleep for 2 nights, nothing fancy. Upon closer inspection however, there were yellow and brown stains on the comforter and the couch in the suite was covered in stains as well. The sheets appeared washed at least, so we managed to sleep comfortably enough for the first night. Upon returning from the wedding in the evening on the following day, the key to our door had stopped working. When we inquired about this, we were informed that we had been checked out of our room by someone while we were done and there was no trace of our booking for the second night. After an HOUR of calling multiple people and being transferred to various managers and such and being told there was nothing they could do and we would have to pay AGAIN to reserve a new room for this night, we finally got to speak to someone who was able to confirm that we did indeed already have a reservation for the second night and had already paid. The system showed someone had manually checked us out without us being present or informed. This final person was able to give us new room cards and we finally got access to our room. Luckily nothing had been touched, but that situation was unacceptable and we were not offered much of an apology or any offer of compensation for the trouble. Sadly, a disappointing experience that dampened a...

Stayed in room 228 for 1 night on 01/23. Had to stop due to freezing rain turning the roads to pure ice. Paid $79 for a room. The lady at the front desk was super nice, but the room was disappointing.
The swing bar lock on the room door was damaged and missing a piece to it so you could only lock the door with the deadbolt. 2. The toilet seat was damaged so it was loose and misaligned. 3. The drain under the sink was missing a cap so sewage smells were leaking out into the bathroom. 4. The medal piece at the base of the sink drain was also rusted and looked dirty. 5. The electrical boxes next to the bed stuck out of the wall slightly and weren’t flush with the wall. 6. The pullout bed/couch was covered in stains. 7. The bed sheets had small old but washed blood/body fluid stains on them. 8. The little dividing wall between the main bed and the couch had obviously not been dusted in a long time. 9. The walls had random little dirt spots/body fluid spots on them. Not a lot of them, but they were there if you looked, but that’s most cheaper hotels I feel like.
I wouldn’t say the room was dirty, but if you looked you could find little corners and nooks that hadn’t been cleaned super well and overall the room could have used a deep clean.
Also I noticed the elevator looks like it is missing a floor panel, but they have it covered up with a rug so it’s less noticeable. The button panel is loose in the elevator too.
Overall, the employees are super nice, but they need better maintenance...
