I requested a room on the first floor 8 months before my stay. I have asthma and saw they did not have a elevator, stairs are hard. 3 months ago I became disabled and walk with a cane. The Lady at the front was rude. I saw she put us on the second level. I asked for a first floor room and was told none were available. There were 3 other cars there on that wednesday. We were staying 4 nights. I think they were trying to fill the 2nd floor first. I again told her about my recent handicap and she said well it only says something about asthma on your request. Again saying nothing was available on the first floor. I was mad by then and walked away. The stairs were steep and open on the back. My cane got stuck on the carpet on one and I almost fell. I met a man on the second floor and I asked for a manager. He was, and I told him of my recent handicap and that 8 months ago I requested a first floor room. I then said I'm handicapped. He then told me to not un-pack. Well they maybe saw my handicap car sticker because they called the room and then came upstairs and told us they had a first floor available. The room was dirty hair all over stuff, bed was hard. I will not stay again because of this and the rudeness of the staff. Things happen in people's lives and things change and respect...
Read moreThe front desk person who checked us in (Sharon) was very nice and helpful both nights. When I told the morning desk person about the sink leaking into the kids duffle bag he said he never heard of that. I said well I have to dry all their clothes. He said let me know when you leave during the day and I'll have someone look at it. I said we'll be in all day but please send someone. He said no just let me know when you leave. My instant radar went into high gear and said no way to myself. They can fix it after we check out. Also the tub was disgusting. I worked in housekeeping for many years and we didn't give the kid's a bath it was that disgusting! On Sunday we were waiting for our son in the parking lot and a homeless guy was hanging around the picnic table and started harassing a guest packing their car up and was being belligerent. The lady went to get the front desk guy and he came out and had no clue what to do. The guy guest told the front desk guy you need to call the police because he's being belligerent and harassing us, wanting to fight. The front desk guy did nothing. We won't be staying at this hotel again. 1 star only because of the Superb service we received from Sharon when...
Read moreTerrible, do not recommend Disliked · I was woke up by a bunch of people outside of my window yelling and screaming, partying at 12 am, I called the desk and was told that if they are outside there is nothing they can do, this continued for a long time. I even knocked on the window and told them to be quiet! I went to the front desk myself and was treated poorly, I feel like because I was a woman I did not matter to them. I was told that I should have called sooner, and that they are ok, they just got off of work and wanted to relax.. I said I had to be up at 5 am and head out for New York, they did not care. I told them I was going to call the police and walked away back to my room. It seem that they immediately got the "manager" and he followed me back to my room, and told me within seconds of me leaving that he talked to them, (he did not have time!) I told him whatever and I was going to call the police if they did not quiet down. They finally quieted down about a half hour later. I even called my son to let him know what happened. I will never stay at a super 8 motel again. I paid my money and was travelling and exhausted, this...
