Stopped at 4:30 on May 12, driving a pickup pull a 12 ft trailer, intending to order inside to go. Very busy and parking lot was full with no spots available for a vehicle pulling a trailer. I drove around the building and parked directly across from the drive thru pick up window. I was not impeding the flow of traffic in any way. There was a full lane open between me and the pillars supporting the drive thru roof. I was not even out of my truck before an employee informed me I couldn't park there per the manager. I pointed out that their parking lot was full and I was pulling a trailer, I would like to add that street parking wasn't possible as the street was only 2 lanes with no parking. He stated he would have to check with his manager. I told him to never mind, I would solve the problem, which I did by going to KFC which was delicious and highly recommended. I don't understand how a manager, who I would assume is in a place of leadership for their ability to recognize situations for what they are and adjust, would just follow the book for every situation and not consider the contributing factors. I live in Menomonie and have family in Wis Dells so I travel this corridor often. I like Culver's food but I don't believe I will darken the doorway of this...
Read moreCame to this Culver's from La Crosse due to the one in La Crosse being jam packed, and all I got to say is WOW! They are way more organized and efficient at this Culver's compared to the La Crosse location. They have their employees coming out of the restaurant and taking your order as you come up and park, something the La Crosse location also did not do. This Culver’s location went up and beyond my expectations. The employee that took our order is Austin, great guy. Had a conversation with us while taking are order which made us feel like an actual person and not just another customer. Fast service, great food, awesome employees. Hats off to you guys. Due to how organized and effective you guys have been along with the awesome employee you guys have “Austin” every time we feel like grabbing some good ole custard and a butter burger we will be sure to make a trip from La Crosse all the way to y ou guys instead of stopping at the local location. Whoever has read this hole thing if you are traveling along I-90 make sure to stop here and not wait out for any other Culver’s or restaurant for that matter. I hope upper management reads this and can somehow award Austin...
Read moreThe Tomah, WI Culver’s is the best Culver’s in the country in my humble opinion. My fiancée and I stop here every time we drive between Minneapolis and Chicago, and it truly never disappoints.
The restaurant is always bustling with families, retired folks, and couples at all hours of the day. It is clearly the place to be in Tomah. It’s sparkling clean, adequately staffed (unlike most comparable restaurants), and consistently has a positive and pleasant atmosphere. The service is quick, attentive, and friendly. Everyone who works there seems to be happy, paid fairly, and treated with respect. It makes me so happy to see that. That should be the standard.
The food is fresh and honestly seems to be make with love, even though it’s a fast casual restaurant. The deluxe butter burger, cheese curds, cod sandwich, fries, and custard are stand-out menu items for us.
We are now pescatarians, so we are grateful to still have food options at Culver’s. The cod sandwich is super tasty, and it’s a worthy substitute for the butter burger.
Overall, we love this Culver’s and can’t recommend it...
