Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Springville — Hotel in Town of Concord

Located in the historic village of Springville, this hotel exceeded my expectations! This two star hotel is better than a three star boutique hotel in Canada. The entire hotel was recently renovated. It is CLEAN, plenty of parking and conveniently located near Walmart, TJ Maxx, Target, Tim's, McDonald's and numerous other stores. The toiletries provided are of a high quality and generous. The room is small but well designed and is equipped with a safe, mini fridge, LG Smart flat screen tv and microwave. The thermostat is modern and touchscreen. The bathroom features a large backlit vanity mirror where you can choose from three different light temperatures and has a touchscreen option to turn on the mirror de-fogger. The smart TV has a portal where you can view info on local points of interest. Nice little touches we appreciate. We missed the continental breakfast in the morning (hours are 6am to 10am). Due to the thin hotel walls, we did not get restful sleep thanks to the guests next door who were unnecessarily noisy several times throughout the night. Reception gave us some breakfast items upon checkout which was kind. Reception overall was very friendly and welcoming. Lastly, a rare feature is that this entire facility is smoke free. We stayed here for 2 days. I want to explicitly mention the pro s and cons objectively . I want to provide my honest review help people and don’t intent to hurt the busines.

Pros: 1.Wonderful Staff, everyone is very helpful amazing people they all deserve more than 5 stars but more to read at the cons section :( . Employees try really hard to make it right 2.Good breakfast option 3.Opposite to Mc donald, subway, Walmart basically close proximity to shopping and food

Cons definitely outweighs the pros : If cleanliness is your thing then this is definitely is not your place. Toilets are disgusting .We also had water clogging issue in sink n bath tub . Very outdated carpets with all stains. This hotel has to be remodeled if guest has to pay beyond 125 dollar daily rates then they deserve a good clean room. It’s not even equivalent to a motel :(

Will I stay here again, mostly No . The property needs serious remodeling untill then it shouldn't be rented to guests in this condition. I feel bad for all the employees who are amazing big shout out to them. Sarah, Anna, Alyssa ( I might have her name wrong).

Advise to management: Only good employees cannot make a desirable/ comfortable stay. Please...

I love this hotel, will definitely come stay many more times. The nightshift guy named Matt was absolutely awesome!! Hands down the best front desk person I have ever dealt with!! He was professional, but funny! Super informative. Helped me with every request I had last night, without a single complaint. If he is not a Manager by the time I come back for another stay I would be surprised, and disappointed. The room was really clean, and well set up. The bed was so darn comfortable we slept like rocks. The shower was clean, with plenty of space for couples. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. They have lots of options from a cheese omelette, Western omelette, bagels, muffins, danishes, to our personal favorite, fresh made cinnamon Belgian waffles. They have juices, milk, and coffee which was really good! Everything together made it an absolutely awesome night away!
