Cozy Nook Cottages — Hotel in Town of Lake George

I have stayed in these cottages for a lot of my summer vacations.The owner is wonderful and we love to come back every year for our summer tradition. We return every summer and can’t wait to make more memories. It is cozy and quiet yet only 2 miles down the road is the village of lake George with many shops and restaurants.You can also have the option to cook at home some days and save some money on eating out all week.The cottages are air conditioned with tv and you can spend many nights playing board games or sitting out side near the fire pit. There is many things to do in this lake George area that everyone in the family can enjoy. I would rather stay in a cottage than a hotel because it just feels like home...

There are several different cottages on this property. I found ours to be in need of cleaning and window screens. It's cute but has quirky electrical wiring, to put it nicely. Nice grounds to put a chair on and relax. As I stated there are several different buildings there, so they may be very different from one another. The property is situated between Rte9 and the Northway with 1950's construction so it's got a small amount of traffic noise.However, there are lots of trees around that help with sound. I would never stay here again. The questions to give it ratings are primarily based on a hotel property and this is NOT so I have to just give it a couple of stars for things like service, which is irrelevant for...

While the place is pretty cute, electrical sucks to the highest degree. This is really a problem when it gets cold as plugging the heaters is of real concern for the following reasons you may lose power and need to get out of the house to fix it sockets heat up and even show some burn marks leading to great concerns over leaving heat on during the night and not waking up in a fire
