Country Inn by Radisson - Queensbury NY Upon walking into the lobby, you can see that this hotel is set up for get-togethers. Lots of comfy seating, and a 24 Hour coffee station, with great coffee and tea! Hot breakfast until 10am. Great staff - very accommodating, and an easy check-in-check out. This hotel is close to all attractions, the Great Escape Amusement Park is right next door! That could be a little noisy, but if you are looking for peace and quiet, this is not your hotel. This is a family hotel, pools inside and out, and if your room is on the (outside) poolside, you will hear every noise that is made. Even simple conversations. My first two nights were relatively quiet, the third night there was a high school sports team on my floor, and they made noise until 2:30am, and it was on again at 5am. No sleep that night, and the hotel did what they could to quiet them down. This hotel is a great price, and that can factor in when it comes to clientele. If you want to avoid sports teams, and screaming children, look for another hotel. I have an SUV, and the hotel has plenty of parking, and nice wide parking spots as well. Fitness center looked good. A nice overpriced pantry in the lobby, and vending machines on each floor. $2.50 for a soda.. The food vending machines only take credit cards, and I would never use my card for a $1.50 item. Rooms: I stayed in three rooms for the week that I was there. The first room was a double queen, a very small room, but a big bathroom. The air/heater is about a foot away from one of the beds. There is no way to redirect the air coming from the heater, so if someone has to sleep in that bed, they will get blown away! The second room was a King and had a terrible chemical odor; I had a physical reaction to whatever they sprayed; they changed my room to a King suite, and it was ok; no horrible odor. They would not tell me what the odor was, but I believe it's bug spray as they use to treat the mattresses. I had a similar reaction to chemicals in another hotel in Ithaca NY. The King room has a couch, chair, and desk/desk chair. The King Suite with a separate bedroom has a couch, very, very small bathroom, and a bedroom. They supply you with shampoo, conditioner, soap and such. Nicely presented. The rooms had a good sized flat screen TV, with remote’s; cleaned and placed in plastic. The rooms had a microwave and a good sized fridge in a cabinet, with a freezer compartment. The Internet was fast, but it will crash when too many users link up. It crashed three nights that I was there and I had to use my own hotspot. There are plenty of electrical outlets, and USB’s on the desk, and next to the beds. Overall it was a noisy stay, but you live and learn. Lake George is a family tourist trap. So, noise is a given. A nice place to visit off-season for sure. Also, the Starbucks up the road by the outlet shopping centers has the nicest people working there. It was a pleasure!

This hotel is absolutely beautiful! The staff is extremely friendly, the rooms are very clean and set up nicely. I came here as a stop over on my way home from Maine to do some genealogy research since I was passing through the area. The 1st day I was here Sydney and Kelly (the "new girl" who has the broken arm, I learned there was more then 1 Kelly, I want to make sure I put the right one down) helped me come up with good ideas for the places I needed to go for the cemeteries I needed to hit up. They gave me directions and helped me so very much! They were amazing! The morning I was taking off to go to the cemeteries Jane helped me with a map and any questions I had! I studied the map, and unfortunately I didn't get her name, but she answered all questions I asked about the map and locations on the map! I wish I had gotten her name she was so interested in what I was doing and wanted to hear all about it! A lot of people come in and out of the hotel, the pool and hot tub were a little busy, but there's also a pool outside. All pools are heated which make it extremely nice! They work hard to keep everything clean, the tv remotes are individually wrapped. They provide coffee and a coffee pot in each room. The rooms are beautiful and I'd definitely stay here again!

This hotel is situated right next to six flags great escape theme park and right across the street from Martha’s ice cream stand (currently closed for the season).

It is about 10 minute drive to the village of lake George.

The hotel itself was packed with people during our stay. Between a traveling girls softball team and people in the area for the winter carnival, it was popping. Parking was hard to come by.

Between the way the plow driver plowed the parking lot, some snow banks were taking up additional parking spaces which was making it that much harder to find parking. Plus side is- their are several exterior doors to access the floors so that was nice regardless of where you found parking.

(IN THE NON-SNOWY MONTHS PARKING WONT BE AN ISSUE)

The lobby was nice, clean and on the smaller side. There is a electric fireplace with a small sectional couch and 2 additional chairs to sit in the lobby.

The front desk counter area was plain. Behind the front desk I did see a vase filled with fake flowers but it would of been nice to see a plant or some real flowers on the check in counter. (Jazz the place up) lol.

There is a little concession area to the left of the check in counter where you can buy drinks, candy, frozen meals, ice cream, sunglasses , some toiletries, & chips. Prices were reasonable & visible on a small board by the check in desk.

There are stairs right in the lobby that lead up to be second floor. Elevator is located right by the pool on the 1st floor to access 2nd & 3rd level.

Laundry room is on the 3rd floor.

Breakfast area was nice. Ample seating. The women that were running the breakfast area were friendly, & quick with cleaning up tables and refilling any breakfast item that would be low.

Breakfast options were good. Their was : 2 hot tray items, bagels, toast, cereals, yogurts, fruit, hard boiled eggs, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, milk, orange juice, apple juice, water, & waffle maker.

Coffee, tea, and hot chocolate are complimentary, & available 24/7 in the lobby.

Front desk staff was nice, friendly, talkative, and very knowledgeable of the lake George area.

Maintenance guy was a very hard worker, He never stopped working. He kept himself busy.

There was a nice gas fire pit outside the front of the hotel with beautiful red Adirondack chairs to sit on.

Overall, this hotel was clean, nice, and a good price for the winter carnival.

Rooms were decent size. Beds were comfortable, & clean. There is a refrigerator and microwave in the rooms and a desk and plenty of outlets to plug in electronics.

My family and I would stay here again for the winter...
