I stayed at Lake George Campsite for 2 nights at Site 14, and it was absolutely terrible. The site is located directly next to the highway, and you can hear every single car that passes by—so loudly that we couldn’t even have a normal conversation without raising our voices. Sleeping was impossible. With only a thin tent wall between me and the traffic, it felt like I was literally camping on the shoulder of the road. I even tried noise-cancelling headphones, and they did nothing. I was awake until 3 a.m. because of the constant noise and the bright lights from the highway shining into the site. When you go camping, you expect to be surrounded by nature, not constant traffic. Even walking across to different sites, you could still hear the highway noise clearly. I do not recommend this campground—especially Site 14. If you want an actual camping experience, check out Jellystone instead.

Pretty decent campground in an awesome location. Amenities are very basic(small pool, small playground, horseshoe pits and a small game room), but the sites are well kept and roomy for most RVs. Theres a small office/store, large trash receptacles away from the campsites, propane refills, and full hookups at every RV site. Did I mention there's a brewery directly next to the campground? Mostly families or older folks while we stayed here so it was quiet at night, and the staff was very helpful. I needed 10 more feet of sewer hose so I called the office to purchase an extension, 10 minutes later the Manager himself brought me his personal extension just so I could use it without needed to buy one. Not a fancy campground by any means but for the price we would definitely back and recommend the campground for folks looking for an affordable and enjoyable place to camp.

We’ve been camping at LGC for over 25 years now and we just love the location and the close proximity to many area attractions. This year due to my husband’s progressing illness, we asked to switch our site to one we’d had in the past that was closer to the bathrooms. The staff was extremely kind in accommodating our request, and although there has been a lot of turnover of campground managers in our years of camping here, this current staff was the friendliest and most helpful. Unfortunately due to my husband’s illness, this will likely be our last visit, so we were very grateful for such pleasant and accommodating staff. We have enjoyed many years camping at Lake George Campsites and will have many happy memories to look back on. P.s. Our little French Bulldog especially loved the ducky machine in the arcade-his favorite toy in the world.

My husband and I came last year in August to what was described as "Beautiful Newly Built Cottage". They were not brand new last year and I see this year, for the same exact cottage and her other ones, she still has this same exact heading as being brand new. She owns several of these "cottages" in the Lake George Campsites. I am amazed that a business would have the audacity to blatantly describe property in a way that it is not and continue to get away with it. I tried to put this review out last year and it was taken down because of some of my wording. I do not want people to experience what we did. When we arrived the place was dirty. It was in the evening and the office had closed. The next morning I went to the "so-called" office/store to complain, it didn't seem to bother them at all. I now know why, they get away with this and still get their money from customers. We checked out and didn't stay as I was completely grossed out (mind you, the bottom of my feet, after walking barefoot in this small cottage, were black). They would not refund my money, VRBO didn't support me and the credit card company did not because of the "60-day cancellation policy". Beware...this woman has quite the thing going on. She knows she will come out ahead because of her policy, meanwhile, she can post what she wants whether it is correct or not and the consumer loses. It is not fair to the people and they need to know just what is going on. This business needs to be held accountable for conducting business in this manner. My only hope is that this post does not go down and someone with authority can investigate and have this way of doing business stopped...

Our kids are grown and we decided to take that trip we always dreamed of, to see the Northeast coastal area, a bit of Canada, and Adirondacks in NY. As luck would have it our truck broke down. We called 911 as we were stalled in traffic on a holiday weekend. A deputy sheriff Fish came to our assistance and was extremely helpful, familiarizing us with the area . A nice man came and pulled us off the road so traffic could pass. Another man from a local business began making calls to see who could tow our truck and Travel trailer and who worked on diesel trucks. Nemer Dodge even gave my husband, a Vietnam Veteran, a military discount. I have never seen so many people be so helpful.||Deputy Fish informed me of a local campground and luckily they had a cancellation. Karina accommodated us through 7 days, and helped us find all the places to get the things we needed during our stay. They even had a place to do laundry, some entertainment but most of all, the manager made you feel welcome and reassured they would do what they could to help you get through a most stressful situation. You don’t find many good managers like this anymore. One of the RV era here named Lucky even offered us his car to use. I have to say, this Campground I would definitely come back to. Lots to do all around, friendliest and genuine people, and everyone very helpful....||You just do not find a town like this very often, makes you want to be a part of the goodness! They set s great example! What a great experience!||Many thanks to Queensbury and Lake George Campsite...

We stayed in one of the small newer cabins. Amonst our group we had 4 cabins. They were all clean interesting floor plans air conditioning worked great we were there during the remnants of a hurricaine We had a king size bed that was firm foam and very comfortable the bathroom was layed out nicely the kitchen was small. A dorm style fridge and a hot plate. The pots plates and silverware seemed new it took 30 minutes to cook 5 slices of bacon the hit plate barely got warm enough to cook that would be my only complaint. The other thing that happened at some point before that morning a beeaker popped and the fridge turned off so everything we had defrosted most everything was frozen when we got there to make sure it would be good for the weekend . We used the pool and it was delightful about the size of a typical residential pool . The only access to the pool is a lsder wirh no walk in steps we were ok with that but anyone that has a problemm with their legs or arms may have a problem getting out or in. The wifi was free and speedy i toured around the campgroud. And it is beutiful. The overall experience i had was better than several others in the area we have stayed at. . The cabins are modern tiny homes. The improved sites for rvs ate complete and they have unimproved tent and vamper site plentifully i like it is 6 miles to lake george village and the crazienes there it us close to the outlets. And couple miles to great escape. Withing walking distance of one mini golf and arcades and marthas is like 1 mile away ...
