Edit: Called the number provided in the reply to this review many times and never received a reply or callback of any kind. Not surprised. Steer clear of this dump. Also when we checked out early they kept all our points. If you want to stay at a beautiful clean and wonderful hotel, try the Hampton inn and suites in lake George NY! We went there instead twice now and it’s wonderful! We had high hopes for this hotel but it was disappointing right from the beginning. Very dirty when we arrived and worn out. The thermostat wouldn’t go any lower than 64 and it was so hot trying to sleep. The surface of the counter was nasty and grungy with smears. The floor by the window had food crumbs and little pieces of random stuff like it wasn’t vacuumed. The shower floor was dirty and smeared with dirt and had nasty hairs in it. We left early to find a nicer hotel because this was just gross. At 1am a bunch of people came and got so loud and rowdy none of us could sleep! They were slamming the doors and talking so loud that our sons medical alert service animal was on high alert all night and couldn’t rest either. They had their doors wide open on either side of our room yelling back and forth to each other. They were also cooking on little electric grills they brought in and all you could smell was burning onions and food. By this time it was around 2am. They stayed up till around 3:30 am yelling laughing and banging the doors and walls. Worst hotel stay ever. For the price I would have expected a much cleaner and not so noisy hotel. Sad we had to switch hotels but I wasn’t using that nasty shower and losing another night of sleep. Added pics of the room because it’s unbelievable for the price they charge. More like a truck stop motel than anything else.

Shout out to Kathryn in Queensbury, she was a delight at check in! All the staff was very nice and helpful during our two night stay. The rooms were cleaned decently, but could certainly have used some work according to those with more discerning expectations. The set up and amenities of the room were good, dishwasher, coffee maker fridge, kitchen basics etc. The bed is the downfall of this hotel. It just isn't comfortable. It is hard in a way that isn't supportively firm, like I prefer, and springy. The bedding is strange and uncomfortable, the base blanket is more like a mattress pad and the pillows smash down to pancakes. For our king, I immediately set up the extra two that were in the cupboard, in addition to the three we started with, and I could have easily used twice as many for some semblance of support. The first floor was quite loud, neighbors above and people in the hall could be clearly heard at all times of night.

We stopped here and stayed in a king suite on the first floor. The tv was humongous, the kitchen area had quartz countertops, a large fridge, sink, and dishwasher, and microwave. Very modern decor. Very clean. Bathroom had a shower with a door and water got very hot. Bed and pillows comfy. Would have liked a few more towels and an extra pillow. Front desk staff was friendly. Coffee was available in the large lobby area. Bowls of fruit and muffins were on the tables to enjoy. Hot chocolate was also available. Breakfast had cereal, nutri grain bars, or you could make toast or a waffle. Very clean breakfast area. Gym was fairly large and looked brand new. Lots of restaurants close to hotel and a mall and wal mart near. Hotel is right of I87 and easy to access. Hotel is pet friendly and you pay a fee for your pet.

We checked in on July 1st, 2023. Miss Katie ( or Kadie) checked us in - and long story short , she is the only reason I am giving this place 1 star because it’s all about the experience, even though the rooms are decent and the location was not a surprise. The staff quality influences whether your experience will be stellar or horrible. For us, it was the latter.

We had booked 2 rooms. Even though we came at 4 , we were given one room because the other one ,opposite to this room was being cleaned. So we waited. And waited. until 5:45. No updates inspite of repeated calls to check in. No apologies for the delay with check in. When my husband went down, he was asked to check out another room on another floor , which he called me to check. I did that and then I took the keys from him and went to the front desk to hand those back since I wanted both rooms on the same floor since we were traveling with kids and seniors.

First, inspite of me waiting patiently in line for my turn, and explaining the problem, she asked me to step aside to check in the next guest. I let that go and waited. Then, when the person after me was checked in , I repeated the issue and asked her to give us 2 rooms on the same floor , does not matter which floor it is. She then proceeded to ask me a bunch of questions - if I had touched anything in the other room (no) , if we had sat on the bed (no) , if we had sat on the sofa (no!). I told her we opened the door looked at it and stepped out. She then told me she did not “ need my frustration and attitude”and that she had already given us a room. THAT ticked me off. I told her firmly that I was not being disrespectful and I was her customer and no, we did not have the 2 rooms that we booked , only one. And that I was willing to wait another hour for the other room in front of us that was being cleaned. She asked me to step aside again to check in the next customer. I asked her if there is a possibility of getting the other room that we were initially told that we would get. She said no.

I asked her then what was the point then of asking me if we had touched anything in the room if there was no intention of letting us change it and what was the point of asking me to wait again if she had no intention of helping. It was obvious to me that she was acting out.

I asked to speak to her manager or someone else but she refused to call anyone and said they had no one but her (!). She then refused to give me her full name saying she did not have to do so and told me that the room I had , was it.

So there we go - that is the quality of people Hilton lets represent their brand. You can be disrespectful to a customer with no repercussions. Will make sure to take my money to Marriott properties...

I am a very frequent traveler and I am never one to complain but I am greatly disappointed with my recent stay at this hotel on September 23rd. We spent the day traveling and it was around 9pm when we checked in. We went up to our room and we were given the wrong room type then what I already booked and already paid for and it was the only reason I even chose to stay at this hotel. I always get a 1 bedroom suite and it is significantly more money then the others ( around 400 bucks a night) So I went back downstairs to sort it out while my two friends were in the room still. When I went to the front desk and told the women that she gave me the wrong room type she told me repeatedly no, that I was in the right room, they don't have those suites at that hotel. When I kept telling her that I am sure I booked that type of room, she then said that there was only 1 of those rooms but I was forsure in the right room. I honestly was too tired to even deal with it and I was prepared on just eating the extra cost for the room and just went back to the room she assigned. When I got to my room, my key didn't work anymore which I thought was weird. So I knocked on the door and my friends let me in. We started to eat and relax when a few minutes later, two men (other guests) used their keys and came into our room while we were in there! She assigned the people that checked in right after us the same exact room we were in. So three women got walked in on by two men at 10pm at night. I again walked downstairs with the two men and told her. She asked me if we were in the room and if our stuff was still in there. And I told her yes. She then assigned me and my guests a new room and she gave the two men our room we were already in! At the point I just wanted a new room anyway because we were really freaked out that strangers had access so we went to the new room. But the other guests went right in the room we were in. It was not re cleaned or anything for them. After all is said and done we went to the new room and to my surprise it was the 1 bedroom suite that I originally booked and paid for in the first place. Absolutely ridiculous experience and totally unacceptable. I was repectful and understanding the whole time and was going to just keep then wrong room without complaint until those guests walked in on us. The employee did not even apologize...

I travel to Lake George every year for a weeklong training. The last 2 years I stayed at Home 2 Suites, Queensbury NY. The first year it was a pleasant experience at Home 2 Suites, but this year I was extremely disappointed.

I arrived at the hotel late evening on Monday 10/17 from a long work day. All I wanted to do was get to my room, take a shower and get ready for the end of the night. The room itself appeared clean, but once I got to the bathroom, I noticed there was no body wash. An empty body wash dispenser was displayed. There was no bathroom floor mat to use for exiting the shower. I had to utilize one of the bathroom towels on the floor to exit the wet shower. In the kitchen, there were no utensils and/or plates in the drawers and shelves. All utensils and plates were in the dishwasher. Some of the utensils didn’t appear to be clean. It didn’t appear to be any quality checks by the hotel to ensure that the kitchenware was safe to use for arriving guest before check-in. At this point, it was late in the night and I decided to let it go. I was hopeful the rest of my stay would be uneventful.

The next day after work, I returned to the hotel and decided to re-wash all the utensils, plates and cups in the dishwasher for my own health and safety. I initially had difficulty pulling out the top tray of the dishwasher. It appeared to be stuck on something. I eventually got the tray pulled out and saw on the lower tray, a recycle bin garbage bin in the dishwasher. At that moment I realized the trash bin was in the dishwasher prior to checking into the hotel. I immediately contacted the front desk staff and spoke with a female. I expressed my disappointment and safety concerns about what I observed in the dishwasher. I also asked if this was a common practice by the hotel. The front desk personnel stated she wasn’t sure. I asked to speak with the manager where I was forwarded to the managers’s voicemail. I left a message regarding my concerns and requested a return call. No return call as of this review.

On the last day, I called the front desk at 6:30am and requested some fresh towels to get ready. The male front desk staff simply stated he would forward my request to housekeeping. I checked out at 8:30am and no towels were...
