Trading Card Hub — Local services in Town of Queensbury

I wish some of these reviews were posted earlier than tonight because it would have saved me the trip from coming to the store myself. I have been to the store once or twice in the last few months to see what it is about since I have been new to the tcg scene in the area and thought that I would check out a new store. The last few times have been mediocre experience but very disappointed with what I dealt with about lorcana this week. The fact that they have been selling product since tuesday coupled with the fact that it is above MSRP ( almost double) is very unfair to grow this community up here for this game. And now seeing the store come after someone whose events I have been to, interacted with and never had problems with in the ways you are stating is disconcerting. Saying these kinds of allegations, acting like you are medical professionals about someone, and saying they are a problem around children, when they have there own events sounds sleezy, untrustworthy, and unbecoming. There are other stores and events that everyone would be better off going to rather than a store that wants to air its issues out for the public, massively over charges for product and sells product before its meant to be sold all of these things combined do not foster a...

In my opinion.

Bad place to buy cards. According to the employee, they do not negotiate price even if the market value has fluctuated. "Sticker is the price." Singles are my biggest gripe at 50cents each for cards under 15cents. All other shops that I've been to respect the market value of cards. Your experience may differ.

Good place to sell cards. According to what the employee said, they buy at market price. Your experience may differ.

Edit#1 in response to owner. The employee there said "We don't do market price." Just "whatever the sticker says." I never asked to go below market price. I called today to do a trade at the trading card hub for some pokemon cards. When I called I asked if they had cash today and they said they did and were interested in what I had and that I should come in. When I got there the person working the counter told me the owner has no said no more trade ins tonight and that they could not help me with it. I asked why on the phone they told me to come in prior and are now telling me they aren’t going to trades . When I asked to speak to someone they said nobody can help and that was it.
