Jenkins Park — Attraction in Trenton

I thought this was a public park of the residents of Trenton Georgia To me this is not just for the little ones but a good clean hangout for the young adults to play basketball and hang out im a poor class family i can't afford a basketball goal for my son so we have to resort to the parks which was fine till a cop told my son he couldn't play basketball when he got off work he works second shift so his day is pretty much gone and all he has is after work my son is a good person he is not on drugs never has been and he don't drink he is a athletic type so he tries to stay healthy loves basketball and football so i think it's only fair he should be allowed to play an hour after work we are not hurting anything or anybody we have never bothered nobody just an hour of basketball what's the harm I think this is petty to run off good kids from good clean fun and then they wonder why these kids stay in trouble pick your battles officer this was clearly not one of them he wasn't...

The park itself is awesome! Great playground for little kids and beautiful little creek. It's usually very clean. My only reason for low scoring is because there is no public bathroom. There is one but is locked up and not accessable to be used. It says closed. Very annoying. Taking kids to the playground also requires several trips to the potty and everytime you have to load them up in the car which is a hassle and drive to the nearest bathroom at CVS or Ingles then load them all back up to go back to the park. Hidden Gem for traveling families...Suddenly No Pets. Have been using this park to stretch our 2 and 4 legs for quite some time (years), but now new park rules. Kids play area is great for 10 and under. Has a Caroline swing for handicap adults. Bathroom facilities are always 5 star. Extremely disappointed with the new Pet Restrictions...this was the last great place for good dog owners for 100+ miles in each direction. If the town is reading this review, consider a dog park...we have $$$ to spend and want to keep doing...
