This hotel is, kind of a disaster. I walked in without a reservation on a Saturday. The hotel was almost completely empty. Behind the front desk was a very friendly, but very much clueless man who only spoke very very rudimentary English. It took nearly 30 minutes just to book a room for a few nights and it felt like I was communicating with a brick wall the whole time just waiting in the lobby for him to make a simple reservation on the computer, even relying on google translator to communicate necessary information. The rooms themselves are new and relatively nice, but that's where the "nice" stops. The level to which this hotel "nickels and dimes" its guests is astounding and insulting. For instance, the free wifi is almost unusable, 1-3 mbps download if you're lucky, or you can pay 7.99$ per week for upgraded speeds. Room service might come once a week, if you need room service more often, they'll happily provide that service to you, for an additional fee. So maybe you're thinking, oh that's okay, I can change the sheets and towels myself, not so fast. They're likely to charge you an extra fee to provide you clean towels and sheets during your stay. Trash disposal, yeah you gotta take that out yourself. So then you think, okay well, the room has a little kitchenette, no coffee or coffee maker in the room, those are only for "sale"not for rent..actually, only the coffee maker, no coffee.......And if you didn't bring your own pots and pans and utensils, you won't find any in the room, but the front desk will gladly sell them to you not rent you one or let you use one, but sell you one, with a mark up of course. That's assuming your induction cooktop actually works, the one in my room didn't. The policies of this hotel are unacceptable and they exploit and treat their guests as cash cows and won't lift a finger to accommodate you or your needs without a hand out demanding more cash. Even though the front desk staff are friendly, I've had better and more gracious service and accommodations at a motel 6. Woodspring Suites, please DO better! Sincerely, A one-time non returning guest
