Hands down the worst customer service I have experienced with hotels. Booking was fine. We arrived at the room, went inside, and a cockroach ran across the floor. My daughter is allergic to shellfish and cockroaches, so I told my husband and kids to wait in the car.
After capturing and flushing the creature down the toilet, I started looking around for signs of others, and noticed a smear of what looked to be feces on the wall next to the bathroom door.
That was it for us. We didn’t even unload the car - we messaged Sea Foam through the hotels.com app, and no one responded. We called hotels.com and the agent tried calling Sea Foam too, and was also unable to reach the property.
They said it might take a couple days to get things figured out, but we were tired, just drove 9 hours, and needed to get kids to bed. We spent our spending money for Panama City booking another hotel so would could sleep somewhere that wasn’t a health hazard.
The property still refuses to give me a refund because I didn’t take a picture of the poop or cockroach. Hotels.com has offered to give us a $50 credit - thats it.
Avoid this property at all costs - honestly I cannot believe they are...

Then once we got in and got ready for bed there was dead bugs and blood stains in the bed. Huge blood stains in the sheets. We texted and called to let them know. Nobody would respond. Until 8.30 next morning. |We left the key and a text saying we left because of the bloody bed sheets after waiting for alittle while to see if they would text back. They didn’t. |There response next morning was telling us thank you for letting them know. |Because we left we had to go find another hotel to stay at to sleep that night. Who in the right mind would sleep in bloody sheets. |We asked for a refund even the cleaning fee. They refused. Wouldn’t even let us talk to the owner. This place will rip you off. They told us if we would have reported it that night they would have given us another room. We did. Remember they did not text back until 8.30 next morning. We even sent pictures of the bed. Dishonest. Do not stay here. |They make so much money of you by giving you a dirty room. That is no way to...
Read moreLet me start off by would I stay here again? Absolutely! While it is older they did a great job remodeling. Reviews weren't lying when they said the bed was super comfy (we were in room 6). That says a lot for someone that has terrible inflammation from an autoimmune disease. Wish I could take it with me. Can't beat a decent room for the price you pay. We stayed 5 nights and less than $500 with our dog. You can't get that anywhere at all! They even have a small fenced in area for the dogs. The pool was great too, had updated furniture and it even goes to 8 feet deep which is rare to see in today's pools. Also if you don't want to walk across to the beach there is 5 or 6 parking spots that you parallel park The only cons but not major except the parking lot that is extremely small if the place is full (gotta have great backing skills) and the huge holes in the driveway. Our toilet rocked a little (no biggie to me) I would suggest an 8,000 Btu window unit instead of 5,000 (I always travel with a small fan but we had to go buy another small one to keep it comfy) Also just another suggestion is get the shower rods...
