Our condo was not ready at check-in time. We went to the unit and back to the office to let them know and they were completely unaware. We had to leave and come back an hour later while they cleaned the unit. The microwave handle was broken off and laying on the counter amoung other aging and cosmetic issues throughout. The biggest issues was with the shower in the guest area bathroom. It dripped for several days and the office was aware of it from day one. We didn’t use the shower in the guest bathroom and just used the main bathroom to help them avoid further issues. The ceiling was stained and there were obvious long term water issues occurring, so it didn’t just happened. Several days into our time, they wanted everything taken care of on the plumbing, on a day we weren’t going to be there. They came to our unit about 30 minutes before they had a plumber coming so we delayed leaving. They then came back closer to time and told us not to worry they weren’t going to make it, so we left for the day. We were then called about 30 minutes later and we had to go back to the condo because we had both keys and all of our stuff was in the unit and we were not comfortable with just random people being in the unit without us. The plumber was there a short time but all in all between the lack of cleaning in the beginning and all the things we dealt with throughout the week, took unnecessary hours of our vacation and there was no compensation given for our inconvenience. I am giving three stars because we do understand a business and things happen, but believe it should be recognized and addressed. We paid a lot of money to enjoy a vacation with our family and these issues should not become our problem! The location itself is nice and believe there are nicer units within the complex, ours (unit 1205), just needed some TLC. The grounds were nice and maintained. Honey in the office was super friendly and nice and was very apologetic to what was going on but only so much within her control. If it weren’t for her, I probably would have lost my cool so do give her props for how she handled things the best way she could. It does appear they are under some changes and possibly new management so hopefully this was just a one off as based on reviews doesn’t appear to be the normal way but do want to share our experience for others. If you are looking at 1205, reconsider until some time has passed and repairs...
Read moreMy experience at this restaurant was, unfortunately, one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. From start to finish, the visit was marred by multiple issues that made it an unpleasant outing. First, the wait time for food was excessive 30 minutes for a simple order is unacceptable, especially when the restaurant wasn’t particularly busy. The staff appeared disengaged and uncaring, showing no urgency or concern for customers waiting. Their attitude only added to the frustration. The condition of the restaurant was another major letdown. The bathrooms were absolutely filthy, which raises serious concerns about overall cleanliness and hygiene standards. This alone made me question the quality of the kitchen. As for the food, it was a complete disappointment. I ordered a quarter pounder, which was improperly prepared and swimming in grease to the point where I had to pour it off hardly appetizing. The fries were cold and overly salty, making them barely edible. It’s clear that little care went into the preparation or quality control. Overall, the combination of slow service, an indifferent staff, unsanitary conditions, and poorly made food made this a place I won’t be returning to. I’d strongly recommend avoiding this restaurant unless significant improvements are made. One star, and that’s...
Read moreWe like this place very much- its beautiful. We stayed in #504. Sadly, the entire time we were here it was double red flags on the beach. Our unit didn't have a plunger which we ended up needing. The arcade downstairs honestly is anything but that. There is a pool table, an air hockey table that has pads that aren't made for the table so they don't hit the pucks, a coin game and an older game that has things like frogger and dig dug which are great for 1970s fans. The arcade space is small but has potential and could really make some big money if they put games in there that are relevant to today's youth. The gal that owns our unit was very nice. People aren't supposed to put their beach chairs etc in front of the wooden chairs that are there for owners and their guests, but they do, and at least while we were there, nobody enforced the rule. Of all the places we have stayed down here over the years, I can honestly say this is still one of my favorites. I attached a photo of the sky one from one of our first days. 9 people died during the time we were there - people need to respect and follow the rules of the beach. Even with double red flags, I witnessed Dads standing at the beach watching their little children in the...
