Service and “management” are TERRIBLE and this coming from a group of servers/managers of a high volume chain restaurant/sports bar.. WE ARE VERY UNDERSTANDING! But what we don’t understand is being OVERCHARGED TO WHAT THE MENU STATES. So, half our party of 10 arrived 15 mins before the rest of us to a completely empty inside dining and a few tables outside. Apps they ordered didn’t come out for 20 mins and all at different times. Never saw the server much. He did inform us 20 mins after ordering, that the food would take a while longer because they were “slammed”. (I got up and counted, there were 20 people not including us and the one other table inside). Finally received food after another 15 mins. ALL COMPLIMENTS TO THE CHEFS/LINECOOKS .. THE FOOD WAS TASTY! We asked for the bills immediately when the food was brought. Took another 15 mins. I AND 2 OTHER PEOPLE WERE OVERCHARGED FROM WHAT THE MENU STATED! Then finally after speaking to a “manager” 20 mins later, she informed me that “THE SYSTEM UPDATED AND I SHOULD UNDERSTAND THAT AS A SERVER” No, what I would have understood is your server informing of us of price/menu changes from the beginning. Because he was sure to correct us on the menu when the wings were order that the actual amount you get is less then what the menu stated and it was a “typo”. Seeing how it is LEGALLY the responsibility of an establishment to relay those kinds of changes, if your management up line is incapable of relaying that information down, the the problem with this place clearly starts at the top. Also a 18% grat was added (which was to be expected) BUT no where was it stated on the menu or any where visible. Unprofessional in...
Read moreSome friends and I went out to dinner at barracuda and we're really excited to try different items on the menu. It was underwhelming to say the least. I will say that the garlic parm oysters were probably the best thing that I eight tonight. We ordered a dozen raw oysters a dozen char-grilled oysters and bang bang shrimp as appetizers we ordered salads and we ordered entrees. We were there about 22 minutes before we were giving our initial drink order. We waited another 10 minutes to get menus. Finally she returned and we quickly began to give her our order as she tried to walk away as soon as oysters came out of our mouths. Shedidn't even bother to write down our order. Needless to say she brought out the oysters. There were four of us and not one of us had silverware. There were no forks to eat the oysters with. And it took another 6 minutes to get Forks so that we could eat the oysters and we got those by one of our party going to the bar and asking for forks and being given to. When our server finally returned approximately 8 minutes after we initially ask for somewhere to eat with, we had to ask for our salads as well as the other appetizer that we ordered, the bang bang shrimp. Two of the entrees, both shrimp and grits, came pretty quickly behind the oysters and salads. However my Nashville hot chicken sandwich never made it to the table. I finally asked our server to cancel the sandwich as the remainder of our party were finished eating. Needless to say we did not have a...
Read moreMy husband and I decided to try this place since it’s close to our condo & we pass it every day while driving - it was SUCH A PLEASANT FUN EXPERIENCE we wished we had tried it sooner in our week’s stay!
There was no wait for us or anyone else who walked up to dine at around 6pm or later. The outdoor open tiki bar & dining area had live music & the singer kept us entertained with 70s,80s,90s rock & occasional country. While we enjoyed our dinner on the outside, it appeared there was a good bunch of locals enjoying line dancing to country music on the inside of the building. The restaurant is fairly new, they told us they opened in 2020.
Our waitress & bartender gave exceptional service & menu recommendations. There were too many enticing things on the menu we wanted to try, and we’ll likely go back in the future to try them all. My husband got Voodoo pasta, I got the Ribeye, grouper bites for appetizer, and bread pudding for desert.
All food & drinks were tasty & delicious, I dare say MUCH BETTER than other popular tourist restaurants along Front Beach Road & on St. Andrews Bay. There were families with small children & larger groups of older adults & younger adults dining.
We highly enjoyed ourselves, and we will definitely return on future vacations!
If you’re on the fence, definitely give this place a try - you’ll be pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem on the East...
