Wow… I really hope I had read the 1 star reviews before I booked. I travel a lot for work and I’ve been a Titanium member for about 3 years. I always try to stay at a Marriott property when I can. I booked this property (3 nights) because I was coming from Vegas and had a couple of days off before heading to downtown Philly for work. I wanted to be outside the city and saw this was close to a National Park so it was perfect. I was expecting to relax. I always have my windows open and I love waking up with natural light, and I appreciate the sunrise/sunset through my window. This is by far the worst property I’ve stayed at. Yes, Patricia is friendly… but helpful? Well she’s not the one that can fix all these issues, so no. No hot water, no internet on my tv, dead bugs, and my only view outside my room is semi-obstructed because the window is incredibly dirty. Couldn’t get my enhanced WiFi to work. Oh, and no housecleaning on the weekends. I tried to switch rooms: they wouldn’t change me. I told them about the window: didn’t clean it. Told them about my tv offline: said they’d send someone but didn’t. Had to shower with cold water because I was heading out and didn’t have time to wait and get it fixed (although, by reading the other reviews, they don’t fix anything). Yea, breakfast is included but McDonald’s is healthier. The only thing salvageable is the oatmeal. I chose this hotel also for the laundry room… it’s coin operated, and they won’t sell you quarters. There’s no ATM at the property neither. I tried to work out a way to get coins from the hotel: I have money, they have coins. How hard would it be to find a way to make the transaction? They obviously did not help a bit, not even tried. So if you go cashless you’re out of luck. Just all around one of my worse stays at a Marriott property. Stay away, unless you pay 50% of what they’re charging.

I've stayed a number of times. Don't expect to sleep. You will hear doors slamming all night and morning with kids often running and raising ruckus in halls. They book a lot of busloads of teens for sports and trips. Internet then gets bottlenecked as every room is packed It seems fixing doors and adding some sort of bumper and quieter latches would go a long way in bringing peace and quiet for guests spending 200 a night The AC/Heat seems to shut off in middle of night, so expect to wake up sweating or freezing The lighting is horrible. Lights all over, but more like accent lighting. Bathroom is the worst Don't expect any healthy or sanitary breakfast. VERY crowded with lots of hands and mouths drooling all over food and utensils etc. Variety means offering nasty pork sausage one day, nasty turkey sausage another, and nasty beef the next. Pink slime "bacon" on another. Alternative is large vat of oatmeal. Never know what dropped in there. Sugary cereal, packaged muffins, maybe some fruit, and well handled bread and bagels are also available. The juice dispenser has been broken nearly every time. Either sprays all over or now completely out of order. No cold drinks with breakfast.

Management needs to spend it's efforts in the upkeep of the hotel and stop enforcing it's own mask mandate (not one other place I visited in the city asked me to where a mask by the way). Stayed on 6/19 - 6/20/21 temp outside was 89 and we had to our A/C set to its lowest setting and the room was still 75+ (signs of clogged filter) Oh but we all know management has our health in our in their best interest. Other things to no note broken leg on the nightstand and hole in the wall is pretty embarrassing for a Marriott brand. My personal opinion is that Management is still riding the COVID train to save Money. They wanna try and say they're keeping you safe, so they don't serve breakfast, hand out a 30₵ goodie bag, and save on regular breakfast and staff. They're so cheap they require you to wear a mask and won't provide you one. Be nice to the staff it's not they're fault!

August 15, 2025 ~ Due to Spouse's illness my review for my May 22, 2025 thru July 30, 2025 has been delayed. SpringHill Suites Philadelphia Valley Forge/King of Prussia, suffered some serious problems with the pipes (not too long ago I went thru somewhat of the same thing at home) and, therefore, the Guests were inconvenienced a few times while I was staying there BUT I can honestly say that Julia, the GM, Iisha, the Assistant GM, Gabe, the Chief Engineer and his assistant, David, as well as the ENTIRE Staff handled the problems the best they possibly could. The Staff remained completely professional as they were being cussed at, yelled at and threatened. There was also an electricity outage which PECO was responsible to repair and every time with problem was extended, Guest were asked if they would like to change hotels, they were asked if there was anything they could do to make it a little better for them, etc. When the elevators went down it was because some young people were playing with them sending them up and down over and over again. They had to be shut down to cool them off. The Front Desk Staff was extremely apologetic. Yes, due to misuse the pool had to be closed, shocked, drained and refilled; the Staff was trying to make it sanitary for all but still they got an earful. I do not drive at night so I was in the lobby and heard what the Staff went through and while I understand the frustration, some things are just out of our control in life. I can honestly tell you that mishaps or not, I had a fantastic and FUNtastic time during my stay and I found that Administrative Staff, The Front Desk Staff, The Chief Engineer & Assistant, the entire Housekeeping, , Laundry Staff and Barkeepers, ALL did the very best they could with the cards that was dealt to them. I am VERY much looking forward to my anticipated 3 month visit in 2026 and I personally thank each and every Staff Member for all that they did during my visit; not just for me but for everyone! I cannot WAIT to go back!! I stayed at the Spring Hill Suites by Marriott in King of Prussia, 875 Mancill Mill Road, King of Prussia, PA 19406, from May 24th thru August 1, 2022 and I honestly cannot wait until I go back in September! I reside in Ontario, Canada and would highly recommend Spring Hill Suites in King of Prussia to anyone who will be in the Montgomery County area. I interacted with Eric, the General Manager; Iisha, his Assistant; Rocheena, Director of Sales; Lonnie, Chief Engineer, Gabe, his Assistant, the entire team who handles all the daily activities such as checking guests in, guest services, checking guests out, takes requests for fresh towels, fresh linens, etc., especially with Jolynne and Patti; Samantha who makes sure that breakfast is enjoyable, the hardworking housekeepers, the housemen who also work diligently at maintaining the building and trash, the overnight Ladies, Paula and Zyeria, who work from 11 to 7; I met the newest addition to the team, Taron, who works various shifts of guest services, Eddie the young man who runs the bar, and I can tell you in all honesty that they all were friendly, professional, helpful, informative…well downright awesome!! Kudos to Eric, Iisha and Rocheena for heading up a team that made me feel so very welcomed and appreciated. I have read the reviews with complaints and fail to understand how anyone who stays anywhere cannot occasionally run into hiccups BUT during my 2 months there I feel that the Team Members of Spring Hill Suites in King of Prussia handled them as quickly as possible. I will be returning in September and I am very much looking forward to staying at Spring Hill Suites of King of Prussia which I am very proud to call my Home...

This was not our first visit to this property--and with my parents living right there, it won't be our last. We have been staying here since the hotel opened, at least once a year at Thanksgiving but usually more. Needless to say, we are familar with the area.

Here's what I like about the hotel (and we usually stay in the King "Suites" --with suites in quotation marks because unless you have rooms that are actually separated by a door and not just a funky dividing wall, it is not a true 'suite"). The hotel is very well-kept up. The rooms are clean; I have no problems walking around in bare-feet. The front desk crew is great; it is always service with a smile. On the other hand, we don't demand much from the hotel since we only sleep in the hotel; the rest of the time, we are at my parent's. In other words, as hotel guests, we aren't very demanding and we are easy to please. If the place is clean and well-kept and the staff is pleasant and easy to deal with, we are happy.

Here is what this hotel is not, and does not pretend to be: it is not a high-end glitzy palace of a hotel with more staff than guests and more services than staff. If that is what you are looking for, then you should try a different Marriott brand. What you will get when you stay here, is a clean, comfortable space, pleasantly designed for comfort and convenience and offering good value for your money.

So, what else can I tell you about this place? It is quiet. It does not back up to any major highways, although it is close to many-- Schuylkill Expressway, the Blue Route (I-476), the PA Turnpike, Rte 202 are all 5-10 minutes away. This is where I would stay if I didn't want to pay downtown hotel prices for a visit it to the Philadelphia historic and cultural sights (even if you add in the cost of day parking and public transit; it is still cheaper).

For those who staying here without a car, public transportation in the area is very sparse but at least it is there. The SEPTA 125 bus, with service into downtown Philadelphia, stops at the apartment complex behind the hotel and there is a walkway connecting the hotel to the complex. Commuter rail is a 20 minute cab ride (not allowing for traffic).

You are minutes from the King of Prussia Mall complex but don't have the noise and hub-bub generated by the mall. Valley Forge National Park is two minutes from the hotel. There are hundreds of restaurants in the areas in all price ranges and...

During my stay at SpringHill Suites by Marriott Philadelphia Valley Forge/King of Prussia, neither the late night front desk assistant or the manager, Iesha conducted themselves in a way that is prudent or conducive with professional customer service. I went to shower before bed and discovered the water would not heat up to a desirable temperature. I went to call the front desk (the phone in the room was plugged in but did not work) so I used my cell phone. A maintenance worker came up. After messing with it for a bit, he told us something was broken and that we would need to be moved. I called the desk again and asked if we could just use a shower in another room as it was late and we were only staying over night. We expressed feeling extremely inconvenienced as it was now 10 at night, we were leaving early and I was in a knee brace. Her response was abrasive and short and she told us no. We did not feel this was justified and went down to speak to her in person. When she greeted us she asked us where out stuff us to which we told her it was still in the room, we reiterated again it was late, we were leaving early, we had a lot of luggage and we felt it was a little absurd that using a shower in a new room was out of the question. Her responses included things like "I'm not doing this. " "I already spoke to my manger.", In between poorly excusing the denial of our request with the lack of house keeping. We asked to speak with the manager she was speaking to ourselves. With obvious irritation, she ended a call we did not know she was on, and phoned a woman named Iesha on her cellphone. We again explained to the person on the phone (speaker phone) the things we had shared with the front desk assistant. It was not well recieved and she became combative at points, accusing me of being loud and confrontational because I asked for an explanation other than there not being house keeping to clean the shower we'd be using, when they wouldn't be cleaning the room with the broken shower that we'd be leaving either. Abruptly her tone changed and she started telling us she was trying to accomodate us but we were being unruly. Ultimately the issue was resolved but we left the confrontation feeling deeply disappointed and heavy. We did not enjoy our stay in the slightest and could not wait to be on to the next leg of our journey. 2 stars because at least we...
