Urban treats is a small family owned business offering breakfast, lunch and dinner. Currently I have only had breakfast I have yet to try lunch and dinner.

Upon entering the store you're immediately greeted with the wonderful ambience of music, this morning it was smooth jazz. The music is followed by a wonderful coffee aroma. A large portion of their business is Togo, however they have a nice sized dining space to accommodate customers who wish to eat in.

They have a drink cooler with alot of options, you have your traditional choices like coke, bottled water, ginger ale, they also have a special drink called "thumbs up" which is local to India, and is similar to coke. They have snacks and chocolate milk for children if they're too picky for anything on the menu.

The floors are hard wood and match the chairs and tables, there is a very large air conditioner ensuring guests stay cool and comfortable. It's a very pleasant location.

They always have hot coffee brewed and ready to go. They have a vanilla and a regular, both are fully complimentary.

Urban treats goes above and beyond when it comes to hospitality.

I have ordered the everything bagel with chive cream cheese, a plain bagel with plain cream cheese, an egg and cheese bagel--all of which tasted phenomenal. Their bagels are soft and not hard or too chewy, they give an appropriate amount of cream cheese. Not too much that it's spilling and making a mess everywhere and not enough to the point where you want more, the amount is perfect.

After a short conversation The owner Ash recommended the "Ash special". It was delicious, Chile, tangy red sauce, egg, cheese and onion in a bagel. It was fantastic. I will definitely be ordering again.

The biggest problem with food establishments is a lack of human connection. Too frequently are you dismissed with the use of an iPad screen to complete your order, or a drive through, or a mobile app. It's horrible to say, but the food industry has lost its touch of human connection. That is not a problem that Urban treats has. Everytime I go I am always greeted with a smile, and I can have pleasant discussions with Ash and the staff who work their. They truly go above and beyond to create a hospitable environment and I'm so grateful it's opened in my apartment. I'll eventually get around to trying the lunches and dinners, but breakfasts are fantastic.

This is a hidden treasure, a tiny gem, but with just 1 visit you'll see how brightly it shines. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area! Make it your new...

I tried out Urban Eats, the new Indian restaurant at Valley Forge Towers, and I left feeling a little disappointed. It’s a cool concept in a great location, but the experience didn’t quite live up to the expectations.

I usually prefer ordering takeout online, but their system through Shop was hard to use. There was some basic info for the items, but not nearly enough to help make a decision — especially with such a large menu full of dishes that might be unfamiliar to people who aren’t used to Indian or Indo-Chinese food. A lot of it required a quick Google search just to understand what you’re ordering. There were no options to make changes, no place to leave allergy info or requests, and oddly enough, they offered monthly installment payments. I guess I didn’t realize I needed to finance a shrimp noodle bowl.

Ten minutes after I ordered, I got a message saying the food was ready for pickup. I headed over, only to be told they couldn’t find my order. The staff checked their system and eventually said they just saw the ticket and it would be ready in five minutes. I ended up waiting another ten to fifteen minutes before I finally got the food. Mistakes happen, but the way it was handled didn’t inspire much confidence.

While I waited, I looked around. The interior is clean and modern, with about eight empty tables and a half-stocked snack shelf. There wasn’t much atmosphere. No artwork, no real decoration, nothing that reflects the restaurant’s identity or the culture behind the food. I’d love to see them add some personality to the space and let the visuals match the food they’re trying to serve.

The food itself was just okay. For sixteen dollars, I got a good portion of Indo-Chinese noodles. The cabbage, onions, herbs, and spices were tasty and well balanced. The noodles were tender and the overall flavor was solid. But the shrimp really let me down. It was chopped into tiny bits and barely there. I wouldn’t be surprised if there were only three shrimp in the entire bowl. For that price, I expected more than a few scattered pieces.

Urban Eats has potential. The flavors are close, and the idea is solid, but they need to fix the online ordering experience, add some energy and identity to the dining space, and be more generous with premium ingredients like shrimp. I’d love to give them another shot once they iron out the kinks. For now, I’ll stick to Aroma Mediterranean...

This place is not easy to find, but boy are you lucky if you follow the Google reviews.

My family and I were visiting from out of town and needed a restaurant for lunch on our way to visit Valley Forge. We saw the stellar reviews and decided to try it.

It’s on the bottom floor of a huge apartment tower complex - interesting!

We were the only people dining there since it was off main hours. The staff were all very helpful and excited to show us their creations. We were about to walk a national park, so we didn’t want to get too crazy and order super heavy stuff.

I had vegetable fried rice and added egg to it (I said bring the spice!). My wife had Manchurian fried rice. My 15 year old son went with buffalo wings.

All 3 dishes were absolutely delicious. The spice in mine was not overpowering but definitely noticeable. The wings looked amazing and my son gave me the thumbs up. My wife was extra excited because the huge portions were perfect for 2 meals.

The price was extremely reasonable. The service was incredible. I’m pretty sure it was the owner or maybe the chef who came out and talked to us. You can tell how important it is to him to give people a positive dining experience.

What an unexpected gold mine this place is. Do yourself a favor - believe the awesome reviews and check this out. You won’t be disappointed.

TLDR:...
