Where do I start? We booked the Presidental Suite. My husband and I were driving through with our 2 year old and 10 month old and decided to stay at this hotel due to their website stating they have new pillows and mattresses. Upon arrival there was a dirty wash cloth in one of the closets. The Presidental Suite stated it was a Queen bed. It was not. It was a Double bed (slightly smaller than a queen). There was no blanket on our bed. The pillows (if you want to call them that) are only 1/4 of the size of a standard pillow and when touching or laying on them, go flat. We asked about the pillows at 2:30AM as neither of us could sleep due to the old mattress sagging and being hard as a rock. The gal working appeared to have just woken up from a nap at the front desl and told me she only works weekends, and doesn't know where to find any more pillows. Neither, my husband or I slept at all while staying their. Luckily, it was only 1 night. The pull out mattress on the couch was at least 15 years old. My 2 year old had a hard time sleeping on it. There was not a blanket in the closet for the pull out bed either.
When checking out, the guy working stated they ordered new pillows and mattresses 2 months ago and still waiting on them, and does not know when they will come in. I'm not sure why they updated their website without having actual new bedding and mattresses. Because it is false advertising. In the State of Nebraska, it is against the law to falsely advertise. They apologized and stated they would remove $30.00 from our stay due too our discomfort.
Lastly, they advertised a free hot breakfast from 6:30AM - 9:00AM. But when I went down to get breakfast for our children, the chairs were still upside down on all the tables, and there was no hot food out at 7:30AM.
I would not recommend this hotel, based solely on their advertising, pillows, mattresses and...
Read moreThis hotel is dirty and the staff is rude about it. I found toenails in my room - gross - and called the front desk to politely (though that wasn't deserved) ask someone to come vacuum them. When the lady got up here, she made a big huff and before she would vacuum them asked if they were mine!!! Are you kidding??? I told her um, no, I would not call her to vacuum up my own toenails. She didn't say a single word while she vacuumed and as she left. Such a terrible experience. I dont even think I can stomach cutting my own dang toenails after that grossness.
Check your AC unit before you turn it on. A weird smell was coming from mine and i looked in the vents and that was filthy too.
Finally, my fridge made a high pitch whining sound the first night that I was here. I had to move my food to my coworkers room and unplug it because it was so loud. I asked for a maintenance tech to fix it in the morning, and when I returned that evening it was plugged in, making the same noise. Thanks, maintenance, good job.
Overall, this was the worst.
I will be telling this to management in the morning. For now, because there is one person working (the huffy puffy vacuumer) I will do my best to sleep through how disgusted and...
Read moreOverall it was ok! It was very cold in the hallways, and the halls weren’t very clean. I get it with the ice melt it probably gets dirty a little more quicker than usual.
The pool area was not very clean with hair bands and clumps of hair on the floor. There were no towels when we got in and they brought some as soon as we called to ask for some, however we used them all (5) and they never got refilled even in the morning. The hot tub was the same temp as the pool and wasn’t all the way full. The lights were off and we had to ask for them to be turned on.
The room was good! A little dusty but otherwise it was a nice size & everything worked well. The heating unit was off when we got in so it was so cold but it heated up quickly.
Breakfast was great! I knew it would be “limited” due to covid but there were many options that i didn’t expect.
Our room door didn’t latch at all. We tried it many many times but only latched if it was locked. We didn’t mind but that is a security hazard for sure.
Seems this hotel would prosper with more housekeeping help. A lot of deep cleaning needs to be done in all areas. Otherwise it’s...
