Budget Inn Valparaiso — Hotel in Valparaiso

Reviews could be on many things this review. I would like to put in would be for the staff at budget Inn. The people that own it are the nicest and kindest people. After salinger my home 6 months ago I have been basically living out of hotels because all the traveling I'm doing. Every hotel from Panama city to fort walton beach where all booked. It was a blessing that we found a room at Budget Inn for many reasons. I have been amazed at how well and Respected I have Felt at at this hotel! A lot of the other ones the staff just made you feel unwelcomed especially Seeing that you are living out of a hotel. They automatically assume things and treat you badly and make you feel unwelcomed and almost bad about yourself And little? Do they know the real reason although it doesn't matter what the reason is. I give this hotel 10 stars Just because of how they have made me feel. It is an older hotel and when you drive by it. You might assume the worst because it's not a brand new hotel but but it is very clean And it has been updated inside. This is a family owned hotel And shame on all of us that would ride by here and judge thinking king. I can only imagine the people that stay there because you are completely wrong. They keep the hotel updated And clean but most of all you are treated like a human no matter what walk of life you are. So for anyone out there That needs a place to stay this is the place. But just as they respect you and treat you Like you are someone important respect them and their property this is their family home. How would you want someone to treat your home. Thank you Jesus for sending me to this place. I would like to help them become the number one hotel in the entire area. Also I would like to tell the staff here. Thank you very much for being such wonderful people! Always be kind to everyone because you never know who you are really dealing with by looking at them. And I am going to make sure this becomes the number one hotel...

I always read reviews before choosing a hotel. Writing this to help someone else. This place is in a good location. It keeps you close enough to the coast without having to pay $500-$1000 a night in Destin. As far as outside activity, we kept to ourselves and had no issues. We checked in at midnight and it seemed all quiet around the motel. The front desk workers were nice. We were first put into a room that we were uncomfortable with- it was a smoking room detached from the main building. Was possibly a small vacated 1level apt building that the motel acquired to expand. However it was not updated. The super helpful front desk worker immediately offered to us he would look for us a different room. He placed us in the main building upstairs. The fridge was unplugged and took most the night to cool, but does work. The AC works. Tv works. Wifi has a password that we weren't provided. The room seems clean enough. No signs of bugs. We were only needing a place to sleep for a couple nights, decent and cheap as possible. This does the job. There is no pool, no breakfast, no extras. Just a simple budget room. I would stay here...

If I could give this place no stars at all that's exactly what I would do. The first room they put my husband and I in was horrible! When I opened the door the bugs were all over as soon as we turned the light on ! I immediately went downstairs and told the hotel employees about the problem and they first wanted to argue with me about the possibility that there were any bugs in the room. Then they moved us down 2 rooms over. The first room that we had was a king size bed and the one that they moved us to had two queen-size so we were told to only sleep in one of them. It wasn't much better except for the fact that it had less bugs! We were the only people on that entire side of the hotel, it didn't have a telephone in the room, and it hadn't been cleaned since they had remodeled it (the grout was still smeared all over the bathroom!)! Do Not stay here unless you want to be treated like trash and stay with a bunch of roaches and other bugs! I should have gotten my money back but that'll...
