Weatherford Inn and Suites — Hotel in Weatherford

I booked a room for one day in this motel by mistake. However, once I arrived I was quite pleased with the accommodations. The staff was very friendly. My first impression was the very professional paint job on the exterior of the building. The owner has an eye for color. The interior décor is pleasant to the eye. ||||The interior style is somewhere between Spanish and the style that I would expect to find in Santa Fe, NM. There are two arches. One of the arches is in the wall that separates the bed area from the sitting area that has a really nice sleeper sofa. The furniture has a black lacquer finish, which is a perfect contrast for the interior colors. The AC is very quiet. The room had a mini fridge, microwave and a coffee maker.||||The flat-screen TV is at least 48". The TV has accessible HDMI ports. The remote allows you to switch inputs. If you like headphones, the TV has a headphone port that actually works. The accessible TV channels provide high quality high resolution pictures that are far better than most low-end/high end motels. Since I don't like dealing with third party booking websites, I called the establishment directly. They agreed to match the price that the third party services were advertising. Staff was very friendly. On the questions on being crowed and was there a "good view" I answered not sure because I felt a further explanation is needed. The hotel itself is a small hotel and the parking lot on the east side of the building is a little tight but the west side and south side provide plenty of room for vehicles towing trailers or medium commercial vehicles such as pole trucks. Larger trucks like 18 wheelers will not be able to park at this hotel. As far as the "good view" this area isn't your beach resort of course, but it is a very nice town with friendly and very helpful locals. The hotel is kind of tucked in so there's not a great view of the town but you're not looking at an over stuffed dumpster either. Hopefully that makes since. Overall the price, the room, hotel staff was great. Also distance to travel to a restaurant or store( Dollar Store, etc) or to get gas was minimal and very convenient and is close to I20(1.7 miles).
