Its a public community park. Has a normal playground. Nothing unique or drastically amazing. Kids will have fun if they want too. It definitely has plenty of room to run around. The field is larger than the playground. It has one large covered pavilion with benches and tables to seat on, several benches around, a walking sidewalk. There is a community pool on-site thats open in the summer for a small fee. I've personally never been but I have seen it. The park also has a large room that you can rent out for gatherings. A basketball court, I think a tennis court but I'm not actual certain about that one. Parking is all around the park. Its a well kept and clean park. Restrooms on site. There is no light in them tho. Overall, its a clean, well kept open park in the middle of a residential area in the...

This local area for Weatherford, Texas is a nice spot with a recreational field and playgrounds as most parks would provide. However, what attracts most locals to this area is the ever improving pool area they have provided. Prices are reasonable for most people ranging approximately 3-5 dollars per person. While their hours may be short through out most days to which they are open, they do offer night swims and water aerobics to name a couple extra curricular activities as well. A place worth visiting to cool off during those heated days of the summer...

The City has done an excellent job in updating and renovating Cherry Park Pool. Our city pool can now easily rival and outdo other small town city pools and be an alluring summer place to be. It now accommodates all fitness and physical levels, zero-entry, splash station, splash pad, great deck, lap swimming, artificial grass in some areas (save precious water and keep your feet clean). New chairs and sun benches, just overall excellent! Need to update the pictures when the landscaping is completed. They need to rename it the...

My youngest,3yr old, grandbaby had a BLAST! What cut it short was a crystal blue Chrysler 300 with 2 men in front & fluffy female with black & bright red hair with dipped ends.....WITH handicapped hanger on rear view mirror. They let her out & parked in front of big kids slide that's twisted, female walked to car & they visably & clearly spent about 10-15 minutes doing drugs with nose & 1 used a needle in front. They then left. I would have left immediately but I am disabled & they were next to my car!!!

There is only one shaded area with about 4 tables all next to each other. If there are a lot of families/kids, there isn't anywhere to sit. (I mean in the shade) You can see in the picture there are lots of benches. Since there are no coverings, in the summer it will probably be very hot to touch all the metal. Besides that its very nice. Today, it was 70'. The playground was packed. There are toddler swings and regular swings. Only a few. There is a small area for the toddler age.

The trees have "dinosaur eggs" that should be collected and buried in the sand so they can hatch (if your kid is 3 or 4). It is a really nice park with sun, shade, great playground options. There is a nice walkway and plenty of great picnic spots. The waterpark/pool is the best $5. Put your flip flops near the pool because that surface gets hot! Very friendly and lots of attentive lifeguards. You will be safe.
