Donald Duck at Remembrance Flower Shop!
Review: âââââ
I must share the quack-tastic experience we had at Remembrance Flower Shop in Weatherford. Our friend Mitch, having lost a bet, turned up in a costume that gave Donald Duck a new run for his money. Picture this: a grown man in fluffy white duck pants, with bright yellow leggings and webbed feet so big, they could've doubled as lily pads. But the pièce de rÊsistance? His dashing blue jacket, matching hat and oversized red bowtie that surely made the original Donald do a double-take.
The staff at Remembrance couldn't hold back their mirth; their laughter was as abundant as the beautiful blooms lining their shop. They adored his costume, and their lighthearted chuckles made it clear that Mitch's feathery spectacle had brightened their day as much as their flowers brighten ours. It was a scene straight out of a Disney movie, with the jolly good vibes one hopes to find in a local business.
They were so tickled by his getup, they snapped photos to share on their Instagram, promising to spread the joy (and, to Mitch's playful chagrin, a bit of embarrassment) further. We hope to see them online! Mitch, the good sport, posed with a bouquet of daisies, which he picked up for our office, adding to the hilarity with his most dapper duck face.
The Remembrance Flower Shop team made sure Mitch knew he was welcome back any time, perhaps hoping for a sequel to this feathery fairy tale. I must applaud their spirit; they turned a simple flower pickup into a memorable event for all involved.
For anyone in need of a lift, or just a stunning bouquet, visit Remembrance Flower Shop. Their flowers are fresh, their hearts are warm, and their sense of humor is as delightful as their decor.
We hope they let us know when Mitch can come back, we're all eagerly awaiting his next...

Maegan used to be the head florist at Central Market before she opened her own place. Iâve ordered countless arrangements from her and every one of them has been uniquely spectacular. In fact, all of the ladies at Remembrance are so nice and helpful and you donât need to know exactly what you want to get a great arrangement from them, just give them your budget and occasion and ask for a floristâs choice! They are very creative and always treat my arrangement like they are giving it themselves. The flowers they use are always stunning and last a week or more, and are sure to generate lots of compliments. They do everything from bouquets and gift baskets, to entire weddings! The next time you have a need beautiful flowers, big or small, give...
Read moreMeg went out of her way to make sure what I ordered was perfect. I live out of state and searched for a florist to deliver flowers to someone who had lost a loved one. It went to the home and not the funeral home. The pictures on their site are what they make in house not something that's from FTD or other online big box florist service. So what you see is always pretty close to what you get. She discussed what flowers she had on hand and what she could get so we were on the same page. She even sent me a picture after it was complete to make sure I liked it. It's always great when you have "home town" service regardless of where you personally live. I never write reviews of a place unless they go above and beyond. And this is the first one I have written on Google. If you want personal service then Meg is the person to fulfill...
