To start off, we arrived for check in on August 16th (technically the 17th because it was midnight) We arrived slightly before 12:20am and we didn’t get checked into the room until 1:20am. The hotel originally charged me $81 and some change on 8/15 which was equal to one night. It was $570 in total and we were staying for a week so $570 divided by 7 comes to approximately $81 a night. At the desk the lady was attempting to still charge me $570, even though the $81 should’ve been taken from the original amount to equal around $490. She told me it was due to a security deposit which I wasn’t made aware of prior to booking and this is the first hotel i’ve ever booked for myself so I wouldn’t have “prior knowledge”. My friend also woke up and realized this lady never gave us her ID back so we had to go request it from the front desk the next morning. On the 19th we have 2 other friends checking into the same hotel but a separate room, we also got placed right next to each other coincidentally. We were talking about this so called “security deposit” and they said they had never gotten charged for that. So I went downstairs and the gentleman at the front desk explained how hotels typically do have a security deposit but this one in specific doesn’t do that. He explained she should have never charged me extra and refunded me. My tire also popped this day and he helped me get ahold of a maintenance worker to help me fix it so that made me feel better about my stay. Now we move onto 8/20. My friend accidentally locked us out of our room so I went downstairs to get a new key. The lady downstairs said I wasn’t on the reservation so therefore I couldn’t get a key because “all i could know is that you’re a random person” which is valid, the only problem is I paid for the room and my vehicle information was on file so why am I not on the reservation? She explained to me that the girl who checked us in needs retraining or needs to quit. She said she is her parents work here or own it so that’s the only reason she works her. She also said she pretends she doesn’t know english but speaks fluently to coworkers. The front desk lady said the original lady never added my name to the room or reservation. Okay fine whatever let’s move onto the next. Here we are on the 22nd and my friend once again forgets her key in the room so she goes downstairs to get a new one and a different lady is working now. The lady doesn’t ask for a name, ID, card information, or anything. Just gives my friend a key to room 220 without any validation. So one night they were super picky and then another night a random person could’ve been let into my room. Now it is 8/24 and they message me about a late fee claiming I haven’t checked out. I called them and the lady working right now as of 1:00pm on 8/24 told me “well I didn’t do that” after being frustrated all she said is it’s an automated message and then hung up on me because I was clearly frustrated with their business after all I had to deal with up above. She asked what room I was in, I told her i’m not even in the state but I stayed in 220. She said the person in 220 has been there for 3 months. What? How is that possible if I was in room 220? I’m considering shutting down my bank account so they can’t have access to my funds. I also developed weird bed bug/mites like bumps all over my upper body and especially my chest. I am going to the hospital because of it. I wasn’t going to mention it but now I am, our room had black finger prints all of the walls. There was still hair on the towels in the hotel room, the shower floor looked as if someone had just showered and left debris on the floor. There was a beetle style bug on the stairs when we first entered as well. Overall, I slept. I would say though that checking in was long and difficult, and the whole key thing was not only annoying but also scary to think this hotel is capable of letting strangers into my room. I just would recommend that someone has a conversation with the employees they all seem miserable and as if they hate themselves...
Read moreHorrible experience. This place is horrible. So to start we booked a week all was ok other than the front desk lady at night sleeping and refused to get us a plunger told us we had to just wait until the next day with no plumbing in our room when we could clearly see the plunger behind the desk she got frustrated with us asking and gave us a ripped plunger that couldn't do a thing. After buying her for nearly 3 hours she finally got us or I should say grabbed the one we could see and let us use it. Then our stay Ended and I called to renew the reservation and spoke to the front desk told them if I needed to come in let me know because I don't get off of work until 1am she said no worries you can come see me or see us in the morning. So I came in to see them the next morning and they told me I wouldn't be able to renew it because our room was dirty. We had been running late the night before and it was a bit of a mess but nothing horrible just clothing spread across the room. I pleaded with her and told her I would be sure to make it clean by the next day because our work assignment was extended. She said ok. But then I look at my bank and find 3 charges for over 145 dollars. This wasnt the agreement and I was never told about it. They just took it and then made us move out a day earlyier that discussed. So we didn't have room in our vehicle to move everything. This was Halloween night I told the lady at the desk I had to leave a tub and come back for it shortly. Well that night my daughter was hit by a car truck or treating and I spent the majority of the evening in the hospital. I called and told the front desk lady and she said no worries it's here. I then came in the next day to get it and noticed our flowers were now on the desk up front and then I'm told they don't know what tub I'm talking about. And then proceeded to call me a liar. I then called the next day and was told to contact the general manager via email. I did such with no reply and I went to the location again and was told the same thing but this time by maintenance. And then I was told that maybe housekeeping has it but I don't have the keys to look. (I work in maintenance and I know I sure do have a key to every door on my site). It's now day 5 that they are holding my belongings from me and I keep getting the run around. My wife's medications is in the tub alongside some of our most prized possessions that can't be replaced like our dogs paw prints that recently passed our computer with every picture we own on it and much more. I have had to resort to filing a police report for my wife's missing medications that they continue to hold from us with no reasoning on why or where it is. This place is a complete scam and they will take anything they can from you. I did forget to mention when they proceeded to enter our Room unannounced or let . alone unwarranted we had our change jar with 63 dollars in it just come up missing . Avoid this place like the plague you will regret staying here and if you do keep your valuables with you or they will come up missing with no...
Read moreDo not waste your money at this place. It is a rip off. When we first checked in we asked for a two bedroom because it's me and my sister sharing a room. They explained that there were only 1 bed bedrooms available at the time. We took the room. At that point they explained we would get a promo discount by the first of November. Within a week we talked to a staff member who said they would get us into a 2 bed bedroom at the same price we were paying for the 1st. After we got our stuff moved to the new room, we went to pay for the following week and the price jumped up significantly. We explained what the previous employee told us but it didn't matter. They said if we wanted to stay in the room we had to pay the new price. We asked if there was anyway they could accommodate us since the incident was not our fault that their employee gave us the wrong info and we weren't told about the new price until after we moved all of our things into the new room. All they said was that there was nothing they could do. Frustrated, we then just asked to move back to a different 1 bed bedroom. At this point there were only handicap accessible rooms available so that's what we had to take. When paying for the new room the price was still higher then expected. We asked about our promo discount they said we would have and told us that since we changed rooms we no longer qualified for that discount. The customer service was Horrible. We had to pay for all the employees mistakes. One week we came in to pay our bill after getting off a 16hr overnight shift. Later that day we noticed our cards were charged twice each. Upon calling they said the first employee originally "refunded" us for the room instead of charge us for it so when the next employee came on shift she decided to charge our cards for a second time without our consent or signature. When asked if they could take the second payment and apply to the following week instead of another refund they replied that their system wouldn't allow them to do that. I have worked for hotels before and know that it's possible to pay ahead so I know they lied. Finally, we decided we had enough and told an employee we were just paying for a couple days and we would be out that Sunday. Not even 3 hours later the manager came banging on our door completely disregarding the do not disturb sign (again we work overnights & sleep during the day) asking where our payment was for the rest of the week. We explained we paid for the days we were staying then we were leaving. 5 hours later the same manager bangs on our door waking us up again asking the same question. I have done a lot of traveling for the past 4 years as a nurse and never have a had such horrible service. We have already put in a complaint to corporate and will be sure our company doesn't send any other nurses to...
