I went here to buy a gift card for a friend that is celiac. I was informed that the gift card was virtual and could be emailed or printed out. I commented on the extra hassle it is now to go find somewhere to print it out and to pay extra to get this done, as I didn’t have the email address to forward it. Also wanted it to go along with a card an another gift. I was informed that the reason is that they get charged for the cards….as they get charged for their bags, containers, all products they use etc. seems a pretty petty reason to ask your customers to run around trying to print something out that they could have charged right then and there. Adding a simple fee for the card. But this way, Staples took the extra cash for it. Also had to take more time to drive to a different establishment to do something I could have done right then and there. Honestly it was a pain. Other than outrageous prices the products are pretty good.
*Thank you for your response. So your explanation of not wanting to invest in actual gift cards because they are too costly for you and that you're trying to do your part in savings the planet is hard to understand. Since you do use plastic containers and bags and spoons and forks and most likely kitchen wear, etc. may I suggest (base on your explanation) to ask your customers to bring their own containers, cloth napkins, reusable bags since these items are surely an expense you can avoid and you are so environmentally conscious. I’m sure the earth appreciates your efforts but I stand by my opinion that this act is petty and inconvenient.
Thank you...
Read moreThese guys are AMAZING! And they've always got something new going on, so it's so exciting every time you order. Best of all, they deliver, so you don't even have to work to go get your bakery cravings!
I love how soft and bubbly and moist the hoagies are. We've found so many uses for these wonderful little loaves. The cinnamon rolls are like your favorite fresh cinnamon rolls; if a restaurant brought them out, you might consider asking them to double check they brought out the gluten free ones. They're absolutely everything I want in a cinnamon roll.
I love the Danish puff with the new cream cheese filling. The cookies. Everything. I have not been disappointed by a single menu item. I even ordered some flour to make crepes and tortillas, and it's my favorite blend.
If there's one thing I would recommend you try, it'd be adding the cinnamon rolls to your cart first, then the rest of what looks good. Whatever you added to your cart and don't wanna take out, you have to try it. I really doubt you'll be disappointed.
I eat a lot of gf to minimize cross contamination for my celiac husband, and I don't feel like either of us is sacrificing or missing anything when we order from this bakery. They're so much more than I could ask for in a bakery. I appreciate them more than I could...
Read moreWow, didn't realize I hadn't posted a review yet. If you want gluten free that the non-gf people in your life can't even tell is gluten free, this is the place to go. It's not dry, it won't crumble, and it tastes delicious ("it" refers to anything you buy, cake, break, pizza crust, cinnamon roll... ANYTHING). It's hard to pick a favorite but my go to is the coffee cake. I grab a frozen one and enjoy it all week. I've also special ordered cakes and cupcakes for birthdays. The strawberries and cream cake is so, so good. My kids also love the carrot cake. Honestly, they're all so delicious! I've gotten in the habit of picking up pizza crust on the weekend for a quick lunch for my kiddos.
I continue to be amazed by the selection on offer from cheesecakes to eclairs to fresh pretzels and so much more! When you come, either prepare to buy a lot to take home and try or just accept that you'll have to come back again and again because you can't buy...
