As we round out 160 years on a little stretch of land our father's father's later called Douglas...and our fathers owned as far as the eye could see....somethings just dont change...

The need for a place to rest one's head...no matter how lofty one's brow or humble the cut of your jib...the need remains the same...

Those souls who have found comfort and rest within this extremely humble abode, never lost HOPE, and were therefore able to rest, recover, regroup, and redeploy their efforts to fight The Good Fight to help change the world to be a better place for those to come....

The Economy Inn is like a community. We all look out for each other, and take care of one another. Even the people that just come and go. The owners spend so much time and energy. That they don't have to. Just to help someone better themselves, or see a smile on your face, or positively influence your life. The rooms are clean, and they don't allow physical violence or drug trafficking to go on, What so ever. It's definitely one of the better places I have stayed in my life. I would be happy to live my...

Place was nasty nasty, roaches everywhere and mice...even snakes. I would ask my enemy to stay here...not to mention the owner is a real haggitha, she was very rude and constantly yelling and looked like she hadn't had a shower or changed clothes in weeks. Don't go here you could prolly catch something. Oh and one of the rooms caught fire and the fire truck had to come...why you ask because the a.c. unit was so old it started sparking. The place should be torn don't it's a health risk...
