I absolutely love Catos. Being a plus size person this store is my absolute favorite. I have shopped there ever since my now deceased grandmother has taken me since I was about 10 years old. I am now 23. It is the only place I will shop for my clothes. But this store in particular off of Pawnee and Broadway has been my worst experience in clothing retail I have yet to come upon. It is June 6th as of today. I just went in on the 3rd and bought a $30 pair of shorts. I tried these shorts on for 1 hour on the day that I bought them. I did not like the way that they fit. I have been super busy with kids and job hunting I had to postpone me taking them back until today. I go into the store that I bought them from, same manager at the counter who checked me out. I then tell this manager that I need to just return these pants and get my money back. She takes my shorts out of the bag that I purchased them in, and then tells me that beings they have been washed that she could not take them back. I know for a fact as busy I have been I have had no time to do my own laundry let alone these new shorts that do not fit me. I called up to every other Catos in this area including the one in Derby and all have said that there is no reason why that manager should have denied my return. I know I did not wear them for more than what I initially had stated to the manager and I know for a fact I myself have not washed these shorts that don't even fit me. A store with nothing but womens clothing from sizes 2-24, lots of jewelry, cheap perfumes for like $4.99 that smell great, lots of cute boots, bras and panties, lingerie, pajama wear, leggings of all sizes, beautiful dresses, jeans, shirts, jackets, etc. Great clearance sales! Everything is priced so fair for such awesome quality of clothing! Very nice employees that are always ready and willing to cater to your needs and wants. Theyve got dressing rooms. You cannot try on their panties! I wouldnt recommended bringing any guys to the store unless they are helping you to choose something because there is nothing there for guys! And they arent aloud in the dressing room area. Mllade a purchase returned it to the same woman who sold it to me. I grabbed the wrong receipt so she tried to make me just exchange for other merchandise. I told her no. Then she wanted to give me a gift card instead of a credit back to my card. I said no you sold it to me you know I paid for it and I want a refund.
