Always quite and clean ! Staff is very friendly . Check out time is 11:00 am and my meeting wasn’t till 1:00 pm . The kind lady at the front desk said when I asked her how much more would a few hours cost , don’t worry about it and just give me a heads up when you leave ! I’ve been going to this hotel for the last 4months off and on and there always pleasant and informative where to eat dinner and lunch . Last month we went there and took our room which was very clean ! The problem was I couldn’t get the AC to go on . I call the front desk and the lady said the maintenance man had just gone to the Hardware store and would be back shortly. Within 5 minutes there was a knock on my door and there he was , Wow , I was expecting two hours ! Real pleasant young man came in and looked around. He walked to the thermostat and made sure there it was set then walked to the sliding door and shut it !! Boo yah , the AC kicked on and we now have cold air !!!! In a very respectful way he explained to me that to conserve on energy they have put a switch at the sliding door so when guests leave to sliding door open it automatically shuts off ! Another thing that draws me back is the fact they keep your name and information including your cars license number so you don’t have to borrow a piece of paper and pen and run outside and retrieve the information you need to complete the check in ! I have one piece of advice for all you new comers , take a picture of your license plate before going into the lobby ! Enjoy your stay and shut your sliding door !...
Read moreWe had never stayed at this motel, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The front desk staff were both friendly and helpful, and the room was large and nicely refurbished. We had a two-queen bedroom with an armchair (I believe the king rooms have a small couch), a large desk, and a luggage table. The bathroom was sparkling clean, and while cramped, the vanity is outside of the shower and toilet, which is nice when two are getting ready. There were plenty of fluffy towels along with nice tubes of toiletries. We didn't use the breakfast coupon as we needed to get on the road, but guests can pick up their coupons the morning of departure, and they are valid for two different "value" breakfasts. The staff warned us, though, that despite their efforts, the restaurant will charge for drinks, including coffee, but there is a Keurig in the room and coffee is available in the lobby. ||The grounds are lovely, and we were excited to have a patio (all rooms face the lawn/pool courtyard and have a patio or balcony) — that is, until we tried to sit outside and realized smoking was permitted, as a lidded ashtray was on the table, complete with some leftover butts. Then we noticed a guest was smoking above us, and we had to go inside and close the door to escape the smoke. I'm not sure we'll stay there again, as it's frustrating to have to keep our doors closed to prevent smoke from coming inside the room. That's the reason I dropped the rating to 3 stars instead of 5. Other than that, it's a...
Read moreDuring an RV Boot Camp conference in Congress AZ, my husband and I stayed at the Los Viajeros Inn and were delighted with the accomodations and service. The hotel, it appeared, had been recently renovated, e.g. our bathroom had been updated with modern counters, wall sized lighted mirror and tasteful shower tile. We enjoyed the quiet complex and slept quite well all three nights, i.e. Thurs-Sat, and the hotel is located near to the center of the historic section of Wickenburg, which is quiet and charming. There is a nice selection of restaurants in town from which to choose, and the hotel is freeway close for easy access. The only disappointing aspect of the hotel was the complementary breakfast. The hotel does not furnish a breakfast on-site, rather it provides a voucher for the Denny's restaurant located next door, which we found to be understaffed, poorly organized and so slow that after waiting an hour for our breakfast we had to leave hungry and frustrated. We will probably never attempt to dine at that Denny's again since it was a colossal waste of time. Our solution was to forego the complementary vouchers for the rest of our stay and drive to a nearby Starbucks that's located in a Safeway grocery story (about 3 miles from the hotel) where we found pastries as well as some fine coffee products. Problem solved! Other than that, our stay was...
