Travelodge by Wyndham Williamsburg North — Hotel in Williamsburg

We checked in at 530 pm when check in is at 3 ... none of the rooms were ready... and the manager wanted us to stay in the dirty rooms. i asked for extra toilet paper and was give a half used roll. there was trash under the beds and in the corner of the clean rooms. One room had ants in their bed. and left over food in a dress drawer.... in one of the rooms the Victorian suite the "clean" folded towel had dried blood on it... in one of the room the shower curtain had brown smudges and blood drops on it. in the sheets of one bed there was a sesame seeds. one night the out fuse blew for the AC and the manager came in with no shoes on to try to fix it. Now the swimming pool that had pictures online as clean and inviting was not even close to what was advertised. It was a POND! it had dirty used band aids on the floor paper and trash in the pool. It seems that it has never been cleaned and to top it off it had frogs and tadpoles living in the pool swimming around, the ice machine was slow and the room it was in smelled of mold. there was a huge trash pile outside the door. This hotel was so gross we didn't even want to shower or sleep. the breakfast was meat in zip lock bags that were were expected to heat up our self but nothing felt clean enough to use the toaster or microwave ( i have photos of...

This place is awful. Where do I start? The furnishings are very dated. We checked in. As we went to our room, the check in person approached us and said she had given us the wrong room. She took our keys back, then came back with keys to a different room. On entering initially, the room was clean. When we went to check out the pool, the hot tub was blocked off with caution tape and the pool was cold. As we walked down the hall, we noticed stains on the carpet, the florescent light was flickering. We left to do our activities. As we came back, we noticed nothing had changed. The next morning, we went down to breakfast. It was oatmeal, cereal and oranges. We went to check on bagels, bread or pastries. We were told the health department wouldn't let them serve other food! We left to find breakfast elsewhere. When we returned late in the day, our room still wasn't cleaned or made up. We were told the maid had an emergency. The only reason we stayed was the fact it was Labor Day weekend and the Hawkeyes had a home football game so it was impossible to find another hotel at that point. Don't make that same mistake. Don't plan to stay here...

The hotel was visibly dirty, trash in the parking lot driveway. Inside there was dirt on the floors and cobwebs in the stairway and halls. The first rooms were were given were not cleaned (bed not made, towels on the floor, trash in the can) and were not the room configurations we reserved (we had 2 rooms reserved). The second set of rooms we were given we couldn't get into because the keycards did not work. The staff treated us like imbeciles and took us upstairs to teach us how to use keycards. Amazingly, the keycards did not work for them either. The third set of rooms we were able to get into, were the right configuration, but one of them did not have a working HVAC as the knobs were missing. Back down to the front desk to have someone fix this.||||The entire time, the staff treated us poorly like we were an inconvenience for them. We will NOT be back to...
