We booked this hotel after we found the previous hotel we booked (see my review of TownePlace Suites by Marriott in Williamsport and save yourself the grief) had ants all over the floors and walls in TWO separate rooms on opposite ends of the hotel. We arrived very late with our toddlers in tow, exhausted, and intending to stay overnight for a family gathering the following morning. Having had good experiences at Marriotts previously (I'm an elite member and have been for years - I literally only stay at Marriotts), I figured the previous hotel HAD to be a fluke. Unfortunately the first thing to hit me when I opened the door to the room was the rotten smell and balmy heat, so much so that my 2 year old wanted to leave. It was very late, and the kids needed to sleep so we planned to tough it out. I walked over to the air conditioner to turn it on and as I did, I stepped in a sopping wet puddle in the middle of the floor. Best case scenario - the air-conditioning unit was not sealed properly and rain/condensation was soaking the floor. We went downstairs and the girl behind the counter seemed as though she didn't care one way or another that we were leaving or getting any info on the soaking wet floor. I fully believe in giving the benefit of the doubt, especially with most businesses dealing with a shortage of workers during a busy travel season. But issues with 3 different rooms across 2 different hotels within a few miles of each other? The poor reparations of the hotel staff? We ended up missing our family gathering as we had no place to stay, our children were exhausted, and we decided to make the long three hour drive back home instead so that they could, at least, sleep in the car. Really hope this isn't the new norm for Marriott. If it is, I'll be taking my membership elsewhere.

Very disappointed by this hotel. We stayed there with the kids because of the great location, the kitchen in the room and the reasonable price. There was no towels in our room, no soap either, I had to go down twice, receptionist didn’t even apologize. Then we went to the pool and found the pool light hanging by the cable in the water. Asked the receptionist, she said no worries it’s safe 🤔 We also had no chair in our room, there was a desk but no chair. Breakfast was good but please reduce the single use plastics. I thought Marriott was committed to reduce its environmental impact.

Very nice hotel! Pleasant lady at check in. Room was comfortable and clean. Decorated very pretty. Morning breakfast was better than some we've had. I loved the breakfast room decor. Very nicely done. And the lady working that area was friendly and actually talked to us. This was my husband's family reunion we were in Williamsport for and she was interested in his story about finding his biological family after years. Would definitely stay here again while visiting Williamsport!

I had the pleasure of staying at the Williamsport Fairfield Inn this past Memorial Day, along with my brother and sister. We were in town for a short visit, attending the funeral of our grandmother who had passed away.

When we first arrived, the clerk greeted us warmly and made us feel immediately at home. He was incredibly professional and courteous – making each of us feel like VIPs. When we requested down-free pillows, he personally checked our rooms when we left for dinner. When we returned, we found a warm, hand-written note letting us know the pillows were non-allergenic, and expressing his condolences on the passing of our grandmother. Additionally, he quickly resolved an issue regarding my sisters room – changing her to a suite when she found her room had not yet been cleaned from the previous guest.

When I realized I had left behind my noise-cancelling headphones, the receptionist looked into it and immediately called me back to make arrangements to ship them to me – free of charge!

The rooms were spotless, inviting and comfortable. The special touches and service - the popcorn in the lobby, the welcome snacks for Rewards members, breakfast and coffee – were top-notch, and were more generous than some 5-Star hotels we...

We spent a week at this hotel with our whole 15 year old baseball team and the families recently while they were participating in a state tournament. I have to sincerely say that this was a 5 star experience, from the front desk, Troy & Kayla and company, to Ann, our room cleaner upper, to Karen, who made things go so smoothly fro all of us during our stay. To say they all were sweet and accommodating is an understatement. I personally have been to several hotels 6 times with my sons baseball teams and this last trip was the best because of the people working in this hotel. They must be commended because they truly made our stay, although we lost in the championship game, a wonderful memorable experience. OH, and one of our team members ended up in the hospital unfortunately, and flowers from the hotel were hand delivered to his hospital room by Karen, the manager. How personal is THAT kind of gesture. Hats off the the great staff at the Fairfield and the clean beautiful accomodations. ...
