Earlier this year, I was looking for a vendor to produce and ship a race t-shirt for a Virtual 5K I was coordinating. I searched online for national vendors, presuming their services and pricing would be more cost effective for our needs. As one who prefers to support local businesses whenever possible, I emailed The Graphic Hive to see what they could provide. Matthew responded promptly, with follow-up questions specific to our needs. This was a welcomed change from the form responses I received from the national vendors. After some back and forth, he sent me a detailed quote. I was stunned Matthew was not only able to provide exactly the product and services I was looking for, but was able to do so at a lower price point than every national vendor I had contacted.

Working with Matthew was amazing. He was thorough, thoughtful, and efficient in every detail. He was able to match our colors perfectly and produce our shirts with the logos exactly as they were designed. Each shirt was shipped directly to our participants. Moreover, The Graphic Hive was able to produce the shirts in two waves, so that we could accommodate late registrations. Matthew provided me with detailed shipping information which I was able to use for tracking packages that took a bit longer to arrive at their destination due to delays due to the pandemic. But I think the best part the entire experience was Matthew’s reaction when what we estimated would be a 25-50 shirt order turned out to be a 150+ shirt order! I was nervous it might be too much, but he calmly assured me they could handle it. The Graphic Hive was able to get production and shipping completed in the previously quoted time frame. I was thrilled.

I can’t say enough about the people that work here. The owner assisted me even when they were closed and made a special trip in to pick up Christmas stockings. I called them in urgent help to get Christmas stockings embroidered as the mother of these four children passed away and she asked if I could gift her children with homemade Christmas stockings. I ordered embroidered names from Etsy and after 6 weeks, they never came. On a Thursday I called the Graphic Hive and they said they would get it done asap. They got it finished Friday and I missed the text to pick them up. I was beside myself because I travel out of town Monday. I got a text from the owner saying he would drive in tomorrow morning. The owner literally drove in from out of town and met me at the store Saturday morning at 8 am. They are usually closed Saturday and Sunday. I reached out to The Graphic Hive with a very last minute request to print decks of custom playing cards we were designing for our team offsite at Capital One. John responded to me immediately and quickly helped me strategize how we could pull off finishing the designs, printing 50 decks, and have them in my hands in NYC in less than one week. Spoiler alert: he made it happen. Not only that, but he made the process feel very easy.

Having never printed playing cards before, we were a little underprepared. John advised us on size, format, and file requirements and told us what he needed from us and by when. He also sourced cases for us and recommended a personalized solution for those cases that we also added on.

As I write this, I have the final product in my hands, beautifully done, and with one day to spare before my deadline.
