Best Western Plus Williston Hotel & Suites — Hotel in Williston

First of all the building look but if you look closely enough it really isn't that clean. There was damages in the room. The door to come in looked like some tried to break in and they never changed the door . The door to the bathroom was the same way. The fan vent in the bathroom didn't work and the tub drain didn't hold water when plugged. Couldn't bathe an infant properly like that. None of the clocks in the room were set to the proper time. The clock also didn't seem to have a way to the time either. I could only set alarms. The television was stuck on the Hallmark channel and couldn't change the channel. As much as I like the Golden Girls the other programming was not my cup of tea. The room was very drafty. The cold air seemed to be coming from around the heater and the window. It was -20 out when we stayed there and could really feel the cold air coming in. It also seemed as if the carpet in our room wasn't vacuumed in a long time. Found someone else's hair tie on the floor. The sidewalks around the building were not kept clear of snow. Do not let curiousity get the best if you and pull the sheets back and look at the mattress. It is a scary site. No bedbugs bit scary stains. The continental breakfast was over rated. The waffle and pancake be were good. But the eggs and potatoes were not very good. It had a nice selection but very sub par choices. I would stick with waffles or cereal. The bacon and sausage were good . The coffe wasn't very good. Not sure if it had a funny taste because of Willistons water or if the machine mixes it wrong. The place needs basic upkeep and cleaning m not sure if they are short staffed or what. I wish I could give it zero stars. First, our room key didn't work. Okay, that happens. Go down, get a new key. Go to the room, open the door, and there is a man in the room! Go down, get offered the room the man was in (he got kicked out). We said no, it would have to be cleaned. They gave us another room. Double beds, we paid for a king. They come back and said they found a king. We pack up and go to that room. Start unpacking, the fridge doesn't work. Called the front desk. They said they will send someone right up. Half hour later, no one. Called front desk again. They wouldn't answer. They a knock on the door. It was a guy with a fridge. Not unboxed - no, they saved that to do in our room. Made a mess. Then as they were removing the old fridge it leaked something all over the floor and down the hallway, in the elevator. Disgusting. No one called us and when we finally got to go out for supper the staff wouldn't even look at us. The absolutely poorest customer service EVER! And the rooms are not very clean. We were booked in another Best Western for five days at our next stop and cancelled the room. Booked a different chain that we like. And the worst part of all of this is that they won't learn anything so they can improve and do better next time. NEVER again will we stay at this chain. Please reconsider if you have another...

Location is great, right across the street from Walmart and a short trip downtown. Customer service is excellent in every way. At checkin when we went to our room the lock on the door didn’t work. Apparently they changed the locks to an electronic battery operated lock and the battery had died and they couldn’t find the charger for it. So they gave us another room. I think they should just go back to the regular old fashioned keycard locks they used to have. The room is where we had most issues. There is no airflow in the rooms other than the wall unit with a fan. No way to even crack a window open. So our room stayed really stuffy and moist most of the time. The swimming pool is a great thing to have but one with heated water is even better. The water was so cold my kids were shivering within a few minutes of getting in the water and therefore changing my mind very quickly of joining them. The hot tub was out of order the whole week we were there. Breakfast every morning and even a small dinner for a couple days during the week. There is a gym, a laundry room and the only hotel guest computer was not working so I wasn’t able to do anything regarding that. We did enjoy our stay here though.
