I recently had a disappointing experience with GameStop, and unfortunately, I have to leave a bad review. First, I want to mention that the employees I interacted with were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. However, my issue lies with GameStop's management at this location.
Twice in a row now, I have preordered games from GameStop that were supposed to come with special bonus content. Unfortunately, both times, I did not receive the promised bonus. The first time, I thought it was just a mistake, but when it happened again, I realized that this seems to be a pattern with this GameStop. It's frustrating to spend extra money on a preorder and not get the advertised content.
Furthermore, I felt like I was being pushed to buy warranties and preorders for future games during my visits to GameStop. While I understand that these are ways for GameStop to make more money, I don't appreciate feeling like I'm being pressured into spending more than I want to.
Overall, I appreciate the customer service provided by the employees at GameStop, but the company's practices have left a bad taste in my mouth. If they can't fulfill their promises with preorders and stop pushing additional purchases on customers, I'm afraid I won't be returning to GameStop...

I came in today to trade in two pairs of headsets. One I've had for years, so I understand why it wasn't being taken. The other I bought, with warranty, 7 months ago. I explained while i only used it twice, i dont play on that specific console very often and would like to trade it in or return it. I was told this headset isn't on their "list" of accepted headsets for trade-in. Which is fine, but when I asked about how to get use of the warranty, I was told the warranty is only good for if the headset breaks or is defective and only then I could receive exactly what the warranty is for.
Gamestop as a company makes it hard for consumers to buy and trade products while pushing warranties that aren't entirely useless, but lackluster. Their products are always a few generations behind and their websites aren't up-to-date with information that could've saved me a drive and time. I've been a pro member off an on since 2014 and honestly I won't be returning to gamestop. They've run their course as a company and aren't catering to consumers anymore, but their...
Read moreThis GameStop gets worse with each new manager they go through. The manager, Josh, has lied straight through his teeth to my husband and I on more than one occasion now. It started with him lying about an amiibo order that he said was in the back, have us leave for an hour or so to come back. In the end they were never there and he didn’t bother checking until he came back from break and never told his other employee about us coming back for them. Now the other lie that is ridiculous, GameStop butt dialed my husband twice yesterday. Neither times anyone was talking, so he called them to inform them it was happening. Josh answered and lied saying “we haven’t called anyone today.” Good god dude you made a mistake! Just apologize and own up to it! Sick of a lying...
