Candlewood Suites Williston by IHG — Hotel in Williston

It's hard to leave a review for such a wonderful hotel. If everyone starts staying here it might be harder to get a room :) This is the best hotel I have stayed at in Williston. Super clean, great staff, comfortable rooms with full pillows and nice a/c units. I didnt experience anything negative during my stay. I do enjoy hotels with a lounge but there is a bar and grill in the parking lot. Tiffany checked me in and apologized that their systems were in the process of getting updated so it was a little slow but it's good to see they are staying current with newer systems to make the checking-in process faster. Lori, the GM, could not have been more accommodating with letting me try the hotel out for the first time, switching from another local hotel that I have been staying at for 3 years. Upon check-out Stacy and Kim were both very concerned with my stay and made sure everything was ok and that I felt safe and comfortable during my stay. Probably one of the worst hotels in Williston. The huge manager with black hair has one of the worst attitudes the dude with pink hair would snatch things out of peoples hands . The hallways would stink so bad and when I went into a new room there was an old used razor in my bathroom which apparently their cleaning people don’t know how to clean. Very unprofessional the maintenance guy I guess is getting paid to just walk around and do nothing. There’s always trash everywhere. When I walk up to the counter there’s never anyone there. This hotel needs a new manager . Seems like I’m not the only one that complains about this hotel and the staff I will be contacting further higher up and corporate with pictures and recording of how staff is talking to customers and pictures of their property. The staff greeted us as soon as we walked in. Fast checkin she took time to explain about the snack room, laundry on site, and exercise room. She told us where to find the dishes in the room and if we needed more towels or anything please come to the front desk and they would get what we needed. Also suggested we use a cart by the front door to bring suit cases and things up to our room on 3rd floor. When we came back from the car she also said when we got ready to leave we could use the ice machine by the front desk to fill the cooler with ice.

When we walked into the room we were surprised that it was cool since it was very hot outside. It was clean and didn't smell from room fresheners that some places use. Comfortable beds and nice area with reclining chair to watch TV.
