I didn't know there was construction going on, this dresser was totally broken i don't understand why they just don't throw it out. I didn't even bathe there because it was dirty. The curtains are horrible all broken. If hadn't paid I would have just left. I wish I could get my money back. Horrible.

We needed a place to crash with no bed bugs. If you just need a comfortable clean bed to sleep on, and don't mind the possible loud neighbors (slamming doors and hollering), this is it. Don't expect much. The service was decent.

DO NOT STAY HERE.

Official descriptions list it as sounding like family friendly. it is anything but.

There were bugs in the room. Non smoking room was overpowering with stale cigarettes. Very very shady part of town. No secondary lock or dead bolt on door. If you're looking for hookers.. or bedbugs (which we found as we were loading our vehicle to leave, a half hour after arriving), this is the place to go. Reserve yourself a nice rental car... the ladies will come right up to your door outside your room.

It's adjacent to the most violent part of the city. Check the crime maps before you book. This is NOT some gentrified neighboorhood. Its in the projects.

After leaving I was chatting with some friends that I didn't realized worked IN Wilmington.... one of whom has a brother in the police department. Her words were that it is an area that police wait to go to calls in until they have a second car to go with from the get-go. Even the police don't go in without backup WITH them.

I was, in full accordance with the law, openly carrying my licensed handgun. A man who saw us loading to leave followed up into the door of my room. A man obviously strung out on something. Asking to have my key since we weren't going to be using the room. There is no intimidation here. The do not want guests here. It is NOT a place for tourists and travelers. As I was checking out, a small group of residents from other rooms formed outside the office just milling about. I was comfortable leaving my wife locked in the car with the key for the simple reason that my LCPII was sitting on her lap.

And hotel with a chain link fence around it... Just avoid. Just.. Don't stay here. (*image credit- not mine. It is one of the images from a google search of the hotel. But it saves me driving back to take this exact image)

Read the other reviews. Residents crowding around cars trying to leave after they decided to check out immediately after checking in and not allowing them to leave. Hookers. Drugs. A shooting in the parking lot as a man fled the property after robbing a woman, in her room, at gun point.

Find a hotel on the north side of the city... or across the border in PA, or a nearby town. This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in in 30...

Good things... arrived after midnight. I had called in ahead of time to indicate it was a last minute reservation and that I would arrive 45 minutes past midnight. Upon arrival, was greeted well. Requested a late check out. I was told it would be noted. I walked into the room. The room smelled like an ashtray. Room was adequate. Only 3 hangers in “closet” area. At that time, I just wanted to be able to get some sleep, since I had to be at work the next day. ‘The TV only had perhaps 10 working channels which you had to actually input the numbers, since flipping up or down was not an available option. I was awakened at 11:07 am by a phone call from the front desk. She informed me that I was over the check out time by 7 minutes... I told her I had come in at almost 1am and had requested a late check out. She replied that she could only give me 20 minutes to vacate since the cleaning staff needed to go in to clean the room. At 11:22am, the cleaning personnel were knocking on the door to come in... Almost opened the door, no safety latch. I said I would be out within minutes. I was out of the room by 11:28am. As I am walking out, I see they have moved on to the next room. There was no urgency to clean my room since there was the one right next to me that they were working on. At check out, I asked for a receipt. She answered “well didn’t you get one?”.. I said No. She flips through papers and then says, “you’re with priceline” ... gave me my...

So as soon as we arrived I immediately felt uncomfortable. We checked in and went right to a shopright to buy disinfectant spray. Upon arival back to our room a man said that we looked like we needed some prostitutes and at a good price too (he told us to hold on). We couldn't get in the room fast enough! Then we went back out to the car and we're asked twice if we had a cigarette the one man said (different then the first man) let me go get you some girls. I sat in bed while watching people pace past our window. When we went to check the was a man looking in our window of the car. As fast as I could I booked another hotel and we returned our keys and left. Now the next morning we called to tell the office of what had occurred and she said if I wanted my money back I should have said something at checkout if you haven been here you know hide you kids hide your wife and run! Needless to say she was rude unprofessional and didn't even offer an apology! Don't ever go here unless your a prostitute, pimp, crackhead or on an adventure to as low as life...
