Honestly this is all you could want from a smokestack. It’s got strange odors, it’s got ominous “ladders”, but the main highlight was the community. Somebody had been kind enough to keep this historic site stocked with a tasteful, rustic, very dead pigeon. I couldn’t ask for more.

Looking at old insurance maps, it appears that it might have been part of the Walton, Whann, & Company Raw Bone Super Phosphate Works. It is listed as being 60' high, which looks about right. Agreed that a little bit of context...
