My husband and I, along with our two children under 3yo, went here for lunch with a friend. We had been here for a night out a few years back and it was great for that. We weren’t sure it would be the best option with kids. We haven’t had good luck at any of the other restaurants in Yale so we figured we’d give it a shot. We were very happy to find out that it was also a great, family friendly restaurant.
First off, the young male bartender with black hair(I regret not grabbing his name), offered to put in any kids food right away if need be. My 2 1/2 year old was already crying about being hungry and this momma forgot to bring snack. The kids food came out fast which saved us from a meltdown.
While waiting for our food, the bartender also informed us that they have a changing room for the little ones AND toys set up on the stage area for evening entertainment. I did end up needing to use the changing room which was very clean and had tons of amenities like extra wipes, diaper ointment, and hand sanitizer. It even had a rocker and a curtain for privacy. Although I don’t shy away from nursing in public, as a nursing mom I thought this was an awesome gesture to those who desire a quite nursing area.
The stage area was set up with plenty of toys for little ones on one side and a sitting area compete with board games and books for older kids and adults. There was even a stroller set up by they entrance which I assume is for guests of the hotel to use freely. There was a pack and play in the changing room which I assume was meant for hotel guests as well.
The food for the adults came quickly and was pretty darn good. I had the turkey bacon ranch wrap with a side of friend mushrooms. The wrap was ok but the mushrooms were quite good. My husband is a burger guy and he said it was a very good burger. I also sampled my kids leftover fries and chicken strips and those were great too.
Both myself and my has and agreed that it had been too long since we had a night out at the Yale Hotel so we plan to give it another...

Rare in the middle over cooked on the outside. Would have made a great dinner plate size burger. Restaurant was Chilly. One good point was...
