Our tank-type water heater was leaking, but still working. We contacted three companies for a quote on replacing this unit with a tankless water heater. Our master bathroom is 50 ft away from the water heater location, and getting hot water for a shower always required a 5-minute wait. The tankless water heater solves this problem by recirculating the hot water supplying the Master Bath. During the inspection for the quote, Larry Carter questioned our current gas line’s capabilities of supplying the natural gas required for all appliances in the home. No other company included increasing the gas line, the tankless water heater could work properly. A second 1-inch gas line was installed to service the tankless water heater.

The installation team, led by Zac Webb did an awesome job. The attention to detail and workmanship exceeded our expectations. Critter guards on the heater intake and exhaust are one example of their details. This three-person team completed the installation in one day.

After 25 years, we now have hot water in seconds in the master bath. Cater Mechanical was not the low-cost supplier, but they provided a water system right for our needs and the product we wanted to install. The adage, “You get what you pay for”, applies to this purchase.

I wanted to have my furnace inspected because there were some noises coming from the unit. I called Carter Mechanical and they showed up a day later. The technician pointed out some issues with the furnace. He was able to show me some pictures of holes in my heat exchanger. Larry came out and we went over all the options and I made the decision to have a new high efficiency furnace installed. Larry's crew came out that same week and installed a brand new furnace and hot water heater. I am a person who asks a lot of questions and needs to understand how things work. Larry and his crew answered every question I had and I felt extremely confident with their work. The quality of the work looks great, and everything functions as it should. This new furnace is without a doubt three times quieter than the old and the house stays a steady temperature instead of the furnace constantly turning on and off. Larry worked with me in finding a price and units that would work well for my house. He gave a detailed quote and spent the time answering questions.
