GREEN HOUSE — Hotel in Bukhara City

The location of the property is good. The property is a nicely restored old travelers lodge and has an old world charm. The size of the rooms and bathrooms is good.||The staff and management are totally unprofessional. They had overbooked and the rooms, which we had booked weeks in advance, were not available for that day (Though we had again informed them many hours before we arrived). We were asked to see another hotel instead, which wasted a lot of our time. The breakfast is served in a fixed quantity which is grossly insufficient for many. The quantity was further reduced by saying that they were fully booked and less food was available (As if they came to know about that on the last minute). The bathrooms...

The location is within walking distance (15-30 mins) of the attractions in the old town. However, the conditions in dorm room on the ground floor are close to unlivable. The ventilation is so bad it gets so stuffy even at night with the windows open. The room is next to the common area where people smoke and talk loudly late into the night. It's just impossible to fall asleep, no thanks to the noise and smoke. The toilet is ghastly and looks like it had been unmaintained and uncleaned. It takes lots of effort to even shut and...

I have some mixed feelings about this place. It is very clean and new. The room is ok but the shower is not so nice. A small curtain stall. It have a small courtyard with some benches.
