On the first morning, I walked into the dining hall and was horrified – the place was empty of people, but every single table was covered with dirty dishes. No one was clearing them away. What was even more surprising, the buffet table – where food was supposed to be – was completely empty. Only empty plates were left standing there.
At first, I thought it was just a one-time incident, so I didn’t go to reception to complain that the only food I found was boiled eggs and tomatoes.

I understand that Samarkand is touristy but this much greed will scare...
