Blues Bar — Restaurant in Samarkand City

Firstly- no live jazz, just a projector with a clip in loop.

Secondly- we ordered our drinks. 2 out of 4 for drinks in reasonable time. Other two waiting. Drink 3 came. No drink 4. After chasing it up they told us they had no aperol (despite us spying a bottle). Instead we asked for a mojito. Eventually given a virgin one. We had to then ask for the rum. Rum was on the ingredients list for the mojito. Finally I got my mojito with rum.

Third- asking for a rum and coke. No rum. However I was given rum in my mojito. Odd. I asked for a second mojito.

Fourth- our first pizza took a while but he had almost finished it before the rest of our food came. So slow. I can’t say the food was amazing either.

Generally slow service. Only go if you want the meal to last forever and you want to kill time.

Also on many occasions the cat wandered into the kitchen... health and safety?!...

Beware!!! If you are tourist from another country they try to cheat you!!! We got a Cocktail Menu in English with good prices - for example a Long Island Ice Tea for 29.000 som. When the check came they wanted 59.000 som (more than double price) even for all the other drinks - at all it was about 50 dollars instead of 25 Dollars. The waitress couldn't explain this, so the manager came. She told us "the menu is an old one an they have new prices, but the waitress didn't explain because she doesn't speek english". After I told her this seems to be cheating and asked for the police, she began to discuss. I told her that I never pay that price and asked again for the police. After 5 minutes of waiting she changed the check to the correct prices. This behavior to tourist is unbelievable and...

The bar is apparently split into two locations (?) and the one shown in most of the photos isn't open until 7pm. The one I was at didn't have any draft beer and only 3 types of bottled beer available. The third beer I ordered came at room temperature but they willingly provided me with ice. The mushroom soup was good and the quesadilla was fine, but a bit bland. I would NOT recommend the nachos with guacamole. First, the chips are not plain tortilla chips, but flavored. Second, I don't know what the "guacamole" is made out of, but it 100% is not avocado. The taste and texture made that abundantly clear. The restaurant also has no chill whatsoever and charged me 12Ksom for lemon that I requested to try to fix up the "guacamole" a bit. The service was quick and friendly and...
