I totally recommend this hotel.
The room was very clean, and the bathroom was spotless as well. They even moved our baggage into the room before check-in.
The receptionist was very kind and helpful.
I didn’t book this hotel myself — I was sent here because the hotel I originally booked was overbooked and had no room for me. We were worried about whether the bill had been paid by the original hotel, since the day before we had a similar experience and got caught during checkout. But the receptionist reassured us that we didn’t need to worry — the payment issue was between Zilol Baxt and the other hotel. Because I had unpleasant experiences in previous hotels, I was really happy to hear him say that.
I was also sick during the night, and he kindly provided me with extra water.
I’d love to stay here again if I return...

We were moved to the top floor for our second night with a view over the roundabout at the front of the hotel. The staff were pretty unhelpful at check-in but their attitude changed when we complained via our travel agent about the room The beds were all like sleeping on a sprung box base. You could feel the springs but there was no 'give' and no padding. No beds in Uzbekistan were comfortable, but these seemed even worse than usual. This is quite a large hotel and by the time we finished breakfast a tour group was queuing out of the dining room and in the passage to get their breakfast from the buffet. The wi-fi worked well on the ground floor and less well on...
