I would like to share my recent travel experience to Vietnam with you. My journey was filled with both challenging and heartwarming moments, and I want to express my gratitude to the staff at G8 Hotel, especially the General Manager, Hoai Phan, and the Front Desk Manager, Linh Phan. During our sightseeing trip, we faced a situation where we couldn't communicate with the locals. It was a stressful and confusing time for us, but the Front Desk staff came forward and offered to help. They were incredibly empathetic and patient, and they assisted us in asking around and interpreting the responses we received. The Front Desk Manager went above and beyond to help us, even when she was off duty, making us feel that we were not alone in a foreign country. I am incredibly touched by the kindness and helpfulness of the staff at G8 Hotel. They were always polite and proactive in assisting us whenever we needed help. Although the hotel's ambiance wasn't the most impressive, their services were truly heartwarming, and I could feel their sincerity throughout my trip to Vietnam. Their compassion and support were incredibly comforting and made our stay much more relaxing. I hope that if you ever find yourself in a similar situation, you too will have the opportunity to experience the warmth and empathy of the staff at G8 Hotel. They are a true testament to the kindness of the Vietnamese people.

Good value-for-money hotel with decently-sized rooms. Reception is on the 6th floor. I wish the building had a ramp to enter instead of me having to lug my suitcase up steps. The breakfast was a decent spread and the staff were generally pleasant. It's a nice place to stay at if your plans involve mostly day-trips outside Da Nang and you just need a place to crash. If you're a beach kind of person (I'm not), I suggest you look for another place closer to the beach. Cons: * I wish the room service menu had a bit more variety. It's pretty limited. * The hotel spa experience was not great. There was nobody at the front desk when I went the first time and I had to go to the reception to get them to call someone. That person spoke limited English. He made me change and escorted me to a community massage room (separated only by curtains) and soak my feet. And then nobody came for 20 minutes! The massage was just OK and lasted only 75 minutes instead of the 90 minutes I paid for. * Laundry charges are ridiculous given the hotel room rates. 75K VND for one shirt? Fortunately, I got my clothes done at a nearby laundry for 20K VND per kilogram. * The lifts can be rather slow, especially if you're staying on a high floor (I was on the 18th).

DaNang is the half way mark of our 25 days backpacking trip in Vietnam. Staying in G8 Luxury hotel had been an exceptionally good experience. The room assigned to us is spacious and well kept. The most outstanding quality is the impeccable service quality of 2 front desk gentlemen; Bosco and Kai. Their warmth hospitality made us feel right at home. Bosco even assisted in booking our train ticket for the next destination. While being off-duty, he still maintained communication, assuring us of every logistical detail. Unfortunately, the other 2 female coworkers are much less helpful. A sad and stark contrast. I guess it is pure luck who the guest gets to meet. The breakfast buffet spread is also a remarkable highlight. We appreciated the nice first meal of the day. Overall, we like the place and would highly recommend it.

I was truly impressed by this wonderful hotel that far exceeded my expectations. I paid $200CAD ($142 USD) for 4 nights which included breakfast, a pool and a gym. Usually at this price you cannot even get a one night budget Motel in Canada but this hotel was absolutely exceptional! ||Check in was quick, simple and the ladies upfront were friendly and kind. Upon entering my room I was pleasantly surprised and super happy to see that it was not only huge and spacious but had a large comfy bed. Everything was impeccably clean. The room had everything from a hair dryer, a fridge and kettle, amenity kits, free coffee, tea and a payable minibar. My pillows, bedsheets and duvet did not stink , they smelled like nothing so I am pretty happy about that! The room had great darkening curtains and I needed that as I was feeling unwell and wanted to take an afternoon nap. The hotel had no problem accommodating my request for a quiet room on the top floor away from noise. Although the area is busy and noisy, I heard no noise from my room when my windows were closed and slept like a baby. The internet was perfect, never had any issues as I watched Netflix and YouTube. The breakfast was fantastic because they had the 3 things and the EXACT 3 things that I only eat for breakfast : Brown bread, Peanut butter and fruit! Most hotels in Vietnam only cater to Asians offering rice, Pho soup and noodles but this breakfast has something for everyone: Pancakes, omelette station, salad, congee, variety of rice, meats, noodles… cakes, muffins… very impressive buffet with a spacious dinning room. Yes they have plenty of healthy vegan, vegetarian options. They even had butter. Gym was simple but again it had what I needed: treadmill and spinning bike. But what made this hotel win my heart was the PIPING HOT WATER♥️Let me explain: I had just come from a 5 night stay at a luxury hotel in Quy Nhon where I paid double the price I paid here yet they couldn’t even offer any hot water in their shower. 5 nights showering in cold water. I literally cried when I took my first hot shower and no mater when or how long I took my shower, I never ran out of hot water! The area is great as well. Plenty of cafés, bakeries, restaurants. 5 min walk to the Con market, a true authentic Vietnamese experience, 10 min walk to the Vinh Trung Plaza where there is Go! grocery store so you can buy everything including souvenirs, you can even see the Dragon bridge from the rooftop! In conclusion, I highly recommend this lovely hotel. Thank you to all the kind staff at G8 for making my last 4 days in Vietnam so wonderful and memorable. Your kindness and hospitality will not be forgotten 🙏♥️ For anyone reading this, please give this hotel a try, you will be...

At check in we were asked for our booking number, instead of our names. Despite providing the booking email confirmation, we were told by the staff that she couldn’t find our reservation! I offered our passports that was where she found our booking, under my husband’s name!

We were informed that our room wasn’t ready and check-in is 2pm, which was fine as it was only 1pm. However, to just end the conversation at that was a bit of a shock. One would expect some general hotel info or info about the area - but nothing was unusual! We didn’t even get a “take a seat, make yourself comfortable, we will let you know as soon as your room is available”.

By 2:30pm after noticing other guests being checked in and shown to the lift, we figured we must have been forgotten. I tried to get someone’s attention, when the same staff that served us looked over and told her colleague “oops”. She shoved a folder at her colleague and that was how we were assigned our room and provided our keycard. We were simply told, here is your room key, room number and bell boy would bring our luggage to our room. That was it, no apologies or explanation. Perhaps English is not their spoken language.

Room itself was great, spacious, clean and modern with a huge shower recess. Hotel is well located to Da Nang train station and good value for money. Breakfast was OK, you won’t go hungry and won’t be wow either. There was plenty of staff interaction with local, Chinese and Korean tourists but not so much with others.

Most unusual for even the hotel doormen to prefer to chat with each other, look at their phones than interacting with guests. The most interaction we had was at checkout when we were asked to provide a good review. I would give 4 stars for the quality room facilities, but staff brings the...

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the G8 luxury spa hotel in Da Nang, Vietnam, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. In fact, I was so impressed that I decided to extend my stay there because it was that good.

One of the standout aspects of this hotel was the incredibly attentive and caring staff. The front office manager, Linh Phar, went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was memorable. She even took the time to recognize my birthday, which made me feel incredibly special. On the day before my departure, she personally met me at breakfast to inquire about the time of my departure to the airport. Knowing that we had an early flight, she bid her farewell and organized a free shuttle taxi and a small buffet breakfast for us to take with us to the airport. This level of personalized service truly exceeded my expectations.

Having traveled to many countries and stayed in numerous hotels, I can confidently say that the G8 luxury spa hotel stands out as one of the best. The staff, led by manager Linh, truly set this hotel apart. Their attentiveness and care made me feel like a valued guest, and I will definitely be staying here again in the future.

In addition to the outstanding service, the hotel also excelled in terms of comfort, room size, food, and cleanliness. Every aspect of my stay was meticulously taken care of, ensuring a truly enjoyable experience.

Overall, I highly recommend the G8 luxury spa hotel in Da Nang, Vietnam. Whether you're seeking a relaxing getaway or a comfortable business trip, this hotel will exceed your expectations...
