Mai's Homestay- Dong van old quarter hotel — Hotel in Đồng Văn Town

I’ve been to this homestay during my Ha Giang Loop tour. I’ve to say that this was one of the worst accommodation I’ve ever been in my life. I was assigned to a dormitory room in the basement. First of all it shouldn’t be possible to have rooms in a basement. The room was very dirty, there was dust everywhere, far beyond my cleaning standards, thing broken or not working as expected, and humidity was so high that the sheets seemed wet, and also it was full of mosquitos (not acceptable for an hotel room). The result was that I didn’t sleep at all and my night was a nightmare. You can find many other better places for this price. You should work a lot to improve your quality. I hope this comment...

Best stayed at Mai Canh Homestay at Dong Van - Ha Giang. We arrived around 7pm and haven’t book yet. We paid 100,000/bed/night. Our host - Danh is the best with always smile and super helpful. So nice to got him. I can give him 1000 stars. Room is good and clean, hot showers and so strong. Comfortable stay and happy to talk too.|Will come back and stay again at Mai Canh Homestay.|10/10...

What a great place to relax for an evening after a day on the Ha Giang loop! The room was clean, comfortable and I loved my view out the window!! I didn't get to interact with the host much, as the tour guide handled everything but I loved it here and it's proximity to downtown! Would have gladly stayed here...
