Old houses homestay — Hotel in Đồng Văn Town

We had booked a dorm for six by the messenger of this page, with the total price for one night is 600k, and the deposit is 10-15% so we had paid 100k. But when we arrived the owner said that there's no booking of us, he didn’t even check the messages history. By the time we arrived there's a group of 20 people intended to stay but due to their old age and the dorm’s condition was unsuitable to them so they left. And the owner told us that we could stay here. When we checked the room, this is a different room that he had sent us in the messenger, this room is an open area where people can go through, we felt uncomfortable about this and requested to change to the room in the picture that he sent. But he rejected , he said that we could choose to stay or left, whatever and his reason was our low deposit (this is his request when we asked, and at this moment he was acting like this was our fault, we can pay 50% or more for the deposit but the point is the attitude of the owner). So we decided to leave and find another homestay to spent a night...

The place is dirty and it's not a homestay as described. Their customer service is HORRIBLE and the owner is EXTREMELY RUDE. ||My family and I ended up losing money and had to find a different place to stay that night because they checked other people in our room while we were going out for dinner. Once we got back, the owner tried to put us into a big hostel room with single beds that we didn't feel comfortable to stay in. We wanted our money back but THE OWNER KICKED US OUT AND CURSED AT US. Honestly, I was really disappointed because I was really looking forward to staying here after reading reviews and seeing pictures. Overall, it was an average experience: 1. No online booking service so had to send a bank transfer 2. No dinner or homestay service 3. Staff were not that friendly or helpful 4. Room was clean but nothing special.
